  1. Title: I44 Escape Chernarus 1.8 Type: COOP Mission Version: 1.8 Date: 2014-March-21 Author: SAN Mission name ingame: co_08@_I44_Escape_Chernarus_[1.8] First of all, many many thanks to Engima! He gave me the permission for the port. Thank you very much! This is one of the extraordinary, and I think also most played, missions since this game has been launched. Mission Description: This is a port of the original mission ESCAPE CHERNARUS 1.8 by Engima of Östgöta Ops. The mission running is like the original. There is only one sentence that describes this mission best: Caught in enemy territory trying to escape! You'll be faced with Bf109 searching for you, as well as Ju87. You'll be faced with Ju52 who drops off "Fallschirmjäger". You'll be faced with steel animals like the "Panther" or "Tiger". And lots of opponents . . . Because in world war 2 there was no night vision devices the start time is limited from 05:00am to 07:00pm. If you start at 07:00pm the opponents use searchlights at the depots and the communication centers. There is full moon. You never die, you only get unconscious, and your skillful teammates can fix you in almost any shape. You have the option to heal yourself for 3 times. Afterwards you only can heal yourself in presence of a Medic. At the communication centers there is a Field Hospital and at the depots a crate where you can heal yourself. Installation: Extract the .pbo file(s) to your ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead\MPMissions folder. Requirements: - Arma 2 - Invasion 1944 - D-Day - Community Base addons - Invasion 1944 - D-Day Patch #5 Known issues: - It may take up to 7 minutes until the boats arrive for the extraction. Have patience and secure your position. - Some vehicle sounds appear as if the vehicle is nearby although it is miles away. This is caused by the I44 Mod. Somewhere in Norway . . . According to reports of the Norwegian resistance there is an underground factory in your target area. The high command needs more informations, you need to get. Find the factory and penetrate into the complex. What you will see in this mission is spectacular. You'll be faced with a underground factory never seen before in Arma since today. The facility is huge. There are several entrances, stairways and connection tunnels. One entrance leads through a cave into the main hall of the factory. There could be lurking opponents behind every door. But first you need to get there!   4. Hi Chewdog, everything in this mission is based on random. The positions of the ammunition depots and communication centers are selected randomly when the game starts. * There are always 5 communication centers (marked on map as red flag) and 10 ammunition depots (marked on map as depot marker). * Each crate in each ammunition depot is loaded differently. As in the original mission. I only changed the class names. So it may happen that in one depot only few weapons are available and in another depot you have weapons in abundance. If you can't find the weapons you wish try it in another depot. Also many patrols have RPGs and heavy weapons so you can pick some of them, if you can ;) * It should not be too easy to find heavy weapons! * It should remain a challenge to lead the task to a good end. I would confirm that the i44 version is harder. It is a completely different gameplay. The possibilities of the defense as infantry soldier over other weapons genres were more limited than today. It began on 31 December 1944 in Alsace and Lorraine in northeastern France, and it ended on 25 January. Attack on the Vosges ridge 1 to 6 January: The offensive began without artillery preparation in the last evening of 31 December 1944. The mountainous and forested terrain section in the Vosges was only held by the Task Force Hudelson, who had the attacking German forces oppose only a little. In the morning hours of the 4th January Wingen was occupied by german forces. Conquer Wingen. In Horgau, a municipality with 600 inhabitants 17 km west of Augsburg, locals do not even know what's going on in the forest. At the station appear more frequently gray cars all with an "OT" on the license plate. "OT" stands for Organisation Todt - the building team which is assumed to the Minister of Armaments and built the Atlantic Wall in Normandy and in Peenemunde the launchers for the V2 rocket. The order in Horgau is secret and people ask: "What is out there in the woods? Your order is to scour the target area and clear it. What you will see in this mission is incredible. This is not fiction or a delirium. American troops have discovered this in a forest in Bavaria. The area was, however, left before the arrival of the troops.   7. Ok kids, now plaintext has to be spoken. This is the result when beginners who have no clue of nothing only copy and paste. Just the fact to publish a so-called "Alpha" Version is been naughty. Awesome is solely the original version! To come to the point that this mission is awesome, the authors have spent much time to test on a dedicated server to complete this mission and to bring it to the level where it is today. Did you asked the authors whether they accept that their mission is simply converted like this. The respect to their work requires a demand! And even to set your names at the beginning of the mission is outrageously. Shame on you!

Title: Hürtgenwald, Part 1 Type: COOP Mission Version: 1.0 Date: 2014-February-14 Author: SAN Mission name ingame: co_14@_i44_hurt-genwald_[1]_v1.0_(SAN) Mission Description: For the Americans, it was the loss richest fight in the European theater of war. It was only in February 1945 succeeded the U.S. Army to overcome the German defenses and further advance to the Rhine. Since many of the German officers and soldiers, who at that time had created or site plans fell, after the fighting, there were no records on the location or size of the minefields. In addition, glass refills (Glassmine 43) and wood mines were more widely used, which also made it impossible for a complete evacuation, as these with conventional detection devices (metal detecting probes) are undetectable.
