Thanks or the response! I don't seem to have anything named user cfg or any file of the sort, did you mean Arma2.cfg ?

Still having this issue. Would like some help. Have already tried: Lowering settings Updating drivers to latest and latest beta (right now I'm on the latest release not beta)

Sorry for needing to bump, but this makes the game unplayable

I've recently (over the last two months) developed an issue where when I open up my gear or map it has a chance to simply freeze my computer! It locks up my screen and I can hear my friends talking in our teamspeak server until I click a few times or whatever then it actually locks up until I reboot. I have no ability to alt-tab or ctrl-alt-del since if I do I it freezes as well. My specs are: Windows 7 64 bit Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 8 gigs of RAM AMD Radeon HD 7970 with most recent drivers. Thank you all for any help!
