    Extremely low FPS

Indeed. Since we're still in alpha I'm sure the combination of BIS optimizing Arma 3 and mission/script creators streamlining their work will raise FPS over time.

    Extremely low FPS

I've noticed this as well. Messing around in the editor preview with one or two AI results in my FPS staying above 60. Hopping into a multiplayer assault/domination server with the same graphic settings results in 20 FPS on average.

Whats the deal with bad players?

I'm brand new to the Arma franchise but I've got about a decade of PC gaming experience. Arma 3 isn't that difficult to pick up if, but it's definitely hard to master. I've watched all of Dslyecxi's introduction to Arma 3 videos and read his Arma 2 guide and that definitely helped me get the basics down - still have a lot to learn though. I believe attitude has a lot to do with how people play. I try to listen to my squadmates and what they're doing to help out as much as I can. Griefing is a part of any game you play and by it's nature Arma 3 is very easy to do so. I haven't run into much of it, but there have been times when griefers will shoot fully loaded helicopters out of the sky and TK people in the field. Just goes with the territory of online gaming I guess.
  4. This is the first Arma I've played (not counting a horrible experience with the Arma2 demo) and so far the alpha is really fun. Even though it's still in alpha I'm surprised at how smoothly it runs. I've only had perhaps 2 instances of the game crashing in around 70 hours of game play. Being new to the Arma series I found it easy to jump into some co-op play. The movement/stance controls are a bit complicated but once I set them up to my liking it's intuitive enough. I understand the basic principles of firearm ballistics and I like that Arma has a realistic ballistics model. Fatigue and kit selection is really fun to play with and I can't wait for the full compliment of small arms to become available. I appreciate the open-world nature to Arma3 and the freedom to select which course of action to take when in combat. All-in-all even though this is still the alpha, I really enjoy Arma3 and look forward to the eventual full version release.
