When playing Arma Reforger there was too big roll-axis acceleration while using TackIR software, the game was almost unplayable because the iron sight was never aligned to shoot precisely. After long and elaborate testing, I solved it by creating a new profile that copied the original curve function. Changing the original profile in TrackIR software did nothing and the game ignored the software input for head tracking (the most affected was the roll axis). Every profile created after the Arma Reforged was installed on my PC works "better" and it seems the game takes the input for the roll axis as defined in TrackIR software. Note: I use only one profile (also checked as exclusive)for all games, and I checked that the correct profile is activated for Reforger. P.S. Still the feeling of head tracking in Arma 3 is much much better and seems so natural.

This topic summarizes my summary from nine hours of suffering and trying to fix the problem. Now I hope this information will help someone else dodge the suffering. After WIN 10 update I found out my configuration and setting in Arma have reset to default. After that, I decided to load back-up of my profile and found that Arma does not show this profile in the main menu as possible to load out. I decided to delete folders Arma 3 and "Arma 3 Other Profiles" from the Documents folder. and start up Arma. Arma loaded with a default profile (named after my user name) and I was only able to create a Player 1 profile that cannot be renamed. What got my attention was that there were no new folders in Documents. Those new profiles were saved in the Arma root folder and I was not able to edit them. I was trying to use the Arma launcher to manually select Arma 3 Other Profile folder from the backup, but during the loading screen I was stuck at "loading core problem". The internet told me to delete "cache.ch" but there was no file with that name. Also if I let the loading screen be up for enough time It creates a log file with the message: Allocator: F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Dll\tbb4malloc_bi_x64.dll [2017.0.0.0] [2017.0.0.0] Waiting for 'C:\Users\Aja\Documents\Arma3 - Other Profiles\DataCache\cache_lock' to be available I have tried to give full control of all folders to profile EVERYONE via file properties, but didnt help. I tried to choose a different allocator but did not help. I tried to verify local files, and as a last resort, I tried to reinstall Arma with precise deleting of every trace of Arma profiles and Launcher files from app data. After some time I found out that the problem was a new Windows function called Randosware Protection. It blocked access to those folders. The solution was hidden under options: "Allow an app through Controlled folder access".

When I move the cursor in the game settings, the control buttons disappear when I move the mouse. The interaction with the buttons is therefore very imprecise, inconvenient, and unintuitive. More is captured in the attached video.

Track IR problems after the 1.2 update

I bought the A:Reforger two days ago, so I cannot comment on the previous patch. Anyway, after testing the game for the first time the TrackIr implementation feels very weird in comparison to the thousands of hours I have spent in A3 with my TrackIR. It looks like the Reforger overrides the TrackIR5 software with its own interpretation. I can feel a very strong "wall" around the dead zone, the acceleration of head rotation is also different (it is too strong for my taste) and the movement in the direction of axes (not the rotation) looks completely disabled. -

When i made some mission in map editor with many bluefor (play able) charakter, i can start play for everyone, but when i died i become a bird and cannot play anymore.. I have to wait to other players die or if i am alone, the mission fail. How to make resurection in another person in my squadrom after dead? When i play original mision in multiplayer it is not problem, after dead i just become another soldier on battlefield or some times i can even choose in which i resurect. In "guidenc/basic" (in my language:"editor s pruvodcem") map edittor i after dead can resurect in other soldier, util someone controled by AI left.., and when all died and left only human players, i become the dammed bird. In clasic editor i try everything: player units, player able units, non-play able units; locked/unlocked/deafault units; make squadrom, make subordinate/commander... nothing working, please give me some advice, thx aja p.s. this happen in multiplayer editor, not in single mission editor
