How do I fix it?

Whenever I click Play from my Steam library, I get the "Preparing to launch Arma 3" box and my profile picture turns green to indicate I'm in-game, but then my in-game status turns back to blue and nothing happens. The "Preparing to launch Arma 3" box is still there but it just sits there forever and the game will not launch. I tried reinstalling and verifying the game cache but still the same issue. The last time I played was a few weeks ago and I didn't mess around with anything or had any mods installed so I'm not sure why it decides to not work now. Can someone please help? Thanks.

I was checking out some mods for Arma 3 like the map pack and various unit and vehicle mods, but even though I've put the mod files into my addons folder and the keys for them in the keys folder, I can't get into any multiplayer servers. There's always a red circle next to every server and when I try connecting it comes up with the names of some of my mod files and says to delete them or insert the correct key because they aren't accepted on the server. Can someone please help me and tell me why I can't get into any servers with mods despite having the keys? I don't want to have to delete my mods every time I want to play multiplayer and then add them again whenever I just want to fool around in the editor. Thanks :confused:

I was kind of surprised that there would be a helicopter DLC. I think we have enough choppers already, I was really hoping for some jets. We have only 3 jets and 8 choppers.

I have tried running the dev build but any server with Altis in the title that I try to join either gives me a "Session lost" message while joining or the game will crash and give me an "Arma 3 has stopped working message" midway through loading the mission file usually. This happens even on servers with lots of people. Can someone please help? I just got back from a trip and was really looking forward to seeing Altis since it released without warning while I was away.

I find it a little bit sad that this game was considered one of the "big PC exclusives" announced at E3 along with Total War: Rome II and some indie games. Reminds me of how low the PC has fallen in terms of exclusives. Don't get me wrong, I do like simulators but for one to be one of the best PC games of E3 is just..odd.

So I had to reinstall windows on my PC due to a trojan some time ago and all my stuff was cleared so when I reinstalled Arma III I noticed my profile name had changed from juicymarmalade to juicy_000 or something. Is there a way to change it, and what exactly determines what your profile name is anyway? I remember when I first played the game it never asked to enter a profile name it just automatically set it to juicymarmalade. I do use that name for a lot of other games but I don't use it for Steam or anything else linked to Arma so I'm not sure how it would determine that my username is what it is. Could someone please explain? Thanks :)

I just wish houses would have something in them, like tables or couches to hide behind. Possibly hidden weapon caches?

12 hours, just got the game on Sunday :) I love just surviving on the wasteland servers while listening to 12 year olds and the like arguing on their mics. Though the actual teamwork stuff happens too, and it's awesome.

So I just got Arma 3 yesterday on my new rig and for some reason I average at 20 fps with the occasional annoying lag spike despite the fact that my PC passes the recommended settings. I was playing on one of those open world survival servers so maybe that has something to do with it but I dunno.
