  1. New kit looks great mate. Just need to work on some headgear and maybe some AMCU/Auscam vests perhaps? And expand uniforms to include full AUSCAM and AUSCAM/solid colour tops. Cover the entire range perhaps? Also a picture I took, you're welcome to use it for the ArmAholic page if you wish.
  2. First I've heard of an ASOR textures pack, mate. And I'd suggest you take this to direct comms and not 'name-and-shame' until it is 100% proven he's copied your work. For all you know, the pattern may have been leaked somewhere and this guy happened to find and use it without knowing exactly where it came from. Shit like that happens.
  3. Maybe just the desert ones? In both Massif/cargo and the Cryes. And I'd add full Auscam as well as Auscam pants/solid shirt versions like you did for the AMCU, just to round them off.

  5. Looking forward to it then! AMCU-A with DPDU and AMCU-B with DPCU, perhaps? I know some soldiers (all over the world) will deliberately fade their uniforms to make them more effective in arid conditions.
  6. Yes, that would be the one! Hell, I'm pretty sure that the SASR and Commandos wear the JPCs from time to time. And as for height maps and uniform styles, there's nothing stopping you from offering the Massif combat uniform AND the Crye Combat uniform together in the same pack (nothing like some variety). I prefer the colouration on Crye variant A though, as the camo has that extra bit of contrast to it. What original camouflage plate are you using?
  7. Yeah, it's just that I recall seeing an ArmA 2 SASR/ASF addon that had DPCU/DPDU mix and match clothing and equipment, and it'd be something that I'd love to see in ArmA 3. And I also recall seeing a guy with an AirFrame mod for A3; perhaps you can get in touch with him and see if you can use it with some Aussie textures, since I've seen that the Crye Airframe helmet is in use with the SASR and Commandos.     ArmA 3 Assets Missing

    So, I've noticed this a fair bit after using a few tools for the game, mainly Dsylexi's Unit Customiser and the Virtual Ammobox System. Whenever I scroll through and wear a selection of the various headgear, uniforms and vests, I notice a few trends: For some items like caps, helmets and vests, textures are just carried over. For example: The ECH (Spraypaint) looks exactly like the ECH. The LBV Harness (Grey) looks exactly like the regular LBV Harness, which is khaki/coyote in colour. One item, a Shemagh, has the texture of what I think is actually a FAST helmet, or an ECH. The Spec Ops Helmet (Which looks like a light MICH 2001 or Ops Core FAST) has NO texture, leaving it plain mesh grey. Other assets are missing completely. The classname is there, the item slot is there. But there is no physical asset. Like the new optics for rifles and sidearms added with the new campaign episode. And before you ask, yes, I have verified my game files MULTIPLE times. So, either BI has missed these items, there are more bugs that haven't been reported or dealt with, or they are placeholders for when later campaign episodes. If anyone can shed some light onto this, it might relieve a few of my concerns.

    Doesn't explain the missing sights from the Campaign episode they just added. The new reflex sights for the pistols and what not.
  15. Also will have the UK CTRG (Arma 3 text is hard to read) units and their unique camouflage pattern (Called UBACS, could be the actual uniform style itself). Hopefully they'll also fix the missing Spec Ops helmet textures, and fix up that one Shemagh with the mixed up texture. If you've used Dsylexi's customizer script, you'll know what I'm talking about.

    Yea, it was GLT. Aerial Refuelling is awesome. So cool. Looking forward to the fixed version. What's the status on the blank texture files as well? Can't wait to see them. I got a few texture ideas in mind.

    @John. When I tried to load that mission, my game crashed and gave this message: Include file C:\Users\[username]\Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\[profile name]\missions\NAVY_FA18_TEST.utes\JS_FA18_service_menu.hpp not found. Not sure if there's a bug with the mission, the version of the jet (from armaholic), or both.

    @John, I've tried that as well. Didn't work. Did you have to set it up in a fully scripted mission or can you just drop it into editor and fly it as is?

    I'm not using ACE. ACE, while it is great for infantry and land-based combat, tends to overcomplicate aerial combat. So I am just using the mod and GLT. I use the GLT version of the line for the init. I'm copying and pasting from the PDF direct, to make sure there's no typo errors. I also had the name of the unit set as 'tanker'. I have it set so the F/A-18F is already flying in configuration. I'm planning to set up an endurance-style mission for my friends and I, and having to land for fuel every time is somewhat time consuming. Just can't get the buddy pod system to work.     Back again. It's ok about the G. Was just curious about it though. Question regarding the Buddy Tank loadout. I've read the PDF that came with the mod, and I don't exactly see how that would work. I put the exact line of code into the F's init field, but when I tested it (Both SP and MP), it loaded with the Multirole layout. Are there any other steps? Or have I missed something? Can't wait for the PSDs to be released. I want to try mocking up some textures from Ace Combat and some custom textures for some friends.

    No. 1 and No. 6 SQN, Royal Australian Air Force, both out of RAAFB Amberley. They operate the F model. And are you planning to model up the Growler? It'd be interesting to say the least to see the Growler make an appearance. Nothing else I can say, but keep up the great work. Can't wait for the blank PSDs to be released. I got a few repaint ideas lined up *cough* Ace Combat *cough*.
