I agree with Tybo's request for USAF Combat Search and Rescue Ghost Hawk and second it. (1st Special Tactics Squadron could use USAF gear all around...)

    ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread

I have a rather simple request- ABUs (Airman Battle Uniform) with all USAF ranks if possible. I would like to be able to pick and choose for my unit members so we all wear our ranks and get that much more in-depth.

    5th Cavalry Division

Unit size and name change: As of 08 APR 2014, the 5th Cavalry Division was modified into an Airborne Brigade Combat Team. As such, the unit requirements in capacity are greatly smaller and the need of Infantry Enlistment Option volunteers is paramount. 11Xs will be immediately placed in training platoons with as little delay as possible. All ArmA 3 Soldiers will be placed (until unit growth is confirmed) in Charlie Company, 2nd Battalion, 82nd Airborne Infantry Regiment. Upon confirmed and full growth of the needs of the Company, members will be added to a new Company, and so on.

5th Airborne Brigade Combat Team Who We Are The 5th Airborne Brigade Combat Team is a Military and Tactical Realism gaming organization, activated 1 October 2013. The Command Sergeant Major of the Brigade Combat Team is currently in the Air Force Delayed Entry Program (shipping on 27 May), previously having been in the Marine Corps' Delayed Entry Program (1 year) and Army JROTC (3 years). What We Offer Applicants Working website (http://5thbct.iclanwebsites.com/) [5thbct.iclanwebsites.com] TeamSpeak 3 server (99.7.145.180:6255) Realistic training Diverse training opportunities Leadership opportunities and courses U.S. Army organization and rank structure Realistic tactics Brotherhood/Sisterhood (for those few females) Ample promotion opportunities Accurate promotion system Communication Teamwork How We Operate The 5th Airborne Brigade Combat Team operates off of the infantry and (when applicable) armor tactics of the U.S. Army, as well as using the Army's leadership training to build a stronger force. Our mottoes of "Mission First!", and "Always Forward, Always Attacking!", are not merely words. "Mission First!"-means exactly that. If a trooper is wounded or killed, but those alive can complete the mission at the possible loss of their brother trooper, then the mission will be squared away before a medic returns to the downed trooper. "Always Forward, Always Attacking!"- This motto is a reference to our fighting style and our nickname. What it means is this- we will not shy away from a fight because we are not going alone. We will always be on the attack, because we are "Hard Chargers". This is also reflected by the fact that we "shoot, move, and communicate" and do not stop unless it's to secure bodies or for the fact that we are incapacitated. How To Apply If you believe yourself capable of earning a place amongst us, and are up for the challenge of earning our Shoulder-Sleeve Insignia- here are our requirements: 1) Working microphone. 2) 18 years of age or older. (Parental consent can be given for anyone under 18, but this is still carefully watched.) 3) Willing to follow and give orders as needed. 4) Willing to fight tactically. 5) Willing to devote at least one hour a week for training/Operations. (Life comes first though.) 6) Willing to, if needed, lead a unit. 7) Complete an interview with the Brigade Combat Team Command Sergeant Major on TeamSpeak 3. If you happen to meet or exceed these requirements, here is a link to our website: http://5thbct.iclanwebsites.com/ [5thbct.iclanwebsites.com] "Mission First!", "Always Forward, Always Attacking!"

  13. Hello. I am hoping to design a base to use for training my unit. It will require a laundry list of features, but I need to speak with someone on how to design it. Please PM me on here, and hopefully we can talk on a TS3 server- my unit is currently just myself on ArmA 2: OA and I am without a TS3 server, or any other servers...

ARMA 2 OA- How do I design a military base?

I was hoping for information on making a rifle range, pistol range, and every other weapons range possible. Then I would appreciate a few airfields with some hangars for C-17s and C-130s, as well as a few helicopters. Simply put, I want a fully operating base with added Sapper, Ranger, Sniper and all other manner of courses able to be given to an Army unit. (If I could pull this off, I feel that my unit would have a lot of appeal.)

Our courses range from Sniper to Sapper, Pathfinder and more. Our current game list includes America's Army 3, America's Army Proving Grounds, Battlefield 4, and obviously ArmA 2: OA. Our rank system and chain of command, as well as training system is based off of the U.S. Army. As the Commanding General, I am personally looking for enlisted personnel first and foremost to begin forming the unit. Once we begin forming units, we will hopefully be holding operations and other events in a dedicated server with an official TS3. At this time sadly, we don't have one. Language: English is a must, other languages would be a bonus.

    Arma 2 Addon request thread

I am curious, is there some form of a "Drill Instructors" mod to change certain people who are given it to wearing (when it is used): the Marine Corps Campaign cover, the green duty belt for any Drill Instructor other than the Senior, and the black duty belt for the Senior Drill Instructor? Also, would anyone know how to create: "MCRD Parris Island", "MCRD San Diego", "Camp Lejeune", "Camp Pendleton", or "Mojave Viper" maps? (If there isn't an add-on for them already.) Sorry for all the questions- new MilSim unit commander with no real info on all the mods/add-ons.
  17. Hey, new editor and unit leader here, how would I create a training map and some simple combat scenarios- including a few HVT or IED operations, etc.? (If it is not an inconvenience, I would also like to know how to create vehicles etc in order to assist in giving what I need for large-scale operations and FTXs.) I intend to pass what info you give me to my (what will be) Staff units that will need to be mission planners. Please PM what info I need.

    10th Marine Division

Division-wide update! Be advised: anyone seeking to become an Infantry Officer (2ndLt to LtCol) will be given 2ndLt after the Infantry Officer's Course and all recruits of the members of said Platoons will be assigned to them. Example: 2ndLt. "Joe" recruits Rct/Pvt. "Mark". After Recruit Training and School of Infantry, Pvt. "Mark" will be assigned to the platoon "Joe" commands. To this end, if someone that is enlisted from the Platoon brings in more recruits, it will end in a similar fashion. This is to help build units. If a unit hits capacity, the others will be assigned to a brother Platoon in the same Company, or (if the Company hits capacity) a brother Company in the Battalion, or (as a last resort) a brother Battalion in the Regiment. Now, I hope this has helped. Every 3 months, we will hold a "Unit of the Quarter" competition where all units report a "Unit Combined Scores" posting all unit members points. "Battalion of the Quarter", "Company of the Quarter", and "Platoon of the Quarter" will be given by the Division Commanding Officer, or in my stead- the Regiment Commanding Officer. Yet another update- we have a TeamSpeak 3 server: jsoc.teamspeak3.com (As a note, I am still working on it and would appreciate help on fixing up the server.)
