  1. Well Single Player works fine. Connects, spawns, off and do things.

     

    MP or server - totally different story.

    It does not show up in 'vote' list to select (as it does with another mod with same file structure.)

     

    So I have edited files out to form old fashion way of pbo file. (I have placed folders where they need to be, adjusted lines so they read to correct files (ie removed dds/scenario etc....)).

    It all fires up, lets me select player, lets me selct parameters, click GO and I spawn on the island.

    I notice on the mission editing that a player was set as player so changed that to playable. Same thing.

     

    So trying to debug I pick it is somewhere between scripts/addons/dss/pre_init and dss/code/fn_init_spawn or whatever it was called.

     

    Any ideas?

    edit:

    there is an error in scripts/addons/bi fn_module..... file - one too many }; so it is not closing properly.


  2. Updated to latest files including steam workshop.

     

    Run in scenario, mod starts but I end up on spawn island. Any idea what is causing this?

    Also it does not want to run in multiplayer mode (now that I have found out how to run mp without pbo mission file)

  3. I have got all the mods list in start line. How does one run server without the mission file pbo?

     

    arma3server.exe -mod=@:@;@;@ etc.... -port........... -config=server.cfg <---------this file has no class mission

     

    Am I suppost to depbo file(s). What else should I have in start line?

  4. You can host the mission through many ways. You can:

     

    - Host via the server list in-game.

    - Use TADST2 or whatever server hosting tool to create a dedicated server.

    - Host from a paid website.

     

     

    The MP Mission may have a few bugs in terms of client-side and server-side, but I have just understood the basics of MP Scripting and will immediately fix the incompatible scripts within the whole mod.

     

    I am using TADST2 - I have activated @cba,@trixie,@bg....,@dss the mod,@dss mission, and all the other mods needed.

    I select Launch, server shows, I go in thru client (mods activated) it just stays at VR load screen.

     

    What am I missing. (I have run many servers this one has got me stumped)

     

    Solved how to access however look later post re new updated version not accessing.


  5. Have set this up on All Out Warfare - runs well.

    All Out Warfare on AUSTRALIA Map or 116.251.198.24:2320

    Only issues seem to be in cities, a lot of broken shadows and fps drops. Some shadows are blockish, some just bleed through buildings.

    Server open to public. If you do come in set the tasks and missions up at flag pole. Have some fun and explore this fantastic map.


  6. Have been playing version dev 17 over last couple of weeks as we found Latest version: Altis to have many buys at start.

    We connect, get inot prison area. Immediately guards start shooting, vehicles turn up and holy shit, chaos.

    The bale walls have too many gaps between so can get killed from guards outside. Is it a setting? Is it ALtis? Has anyone else had problems.


  7. Takistan got the same player init as other version .

    Don't understand what you're saying about arma 3 vas / old vas .

    Was working fine last time i check , i'll see what i can do .

    It was my end, I stuffed up editing update version with old. All working now.

    I used the grenadestop script. Add a marker to mission area where you want safezone (I have mine over airbase.)

    I have attached my pbo as well for you to look over. It will show you what I did.

    Are you looking at adding more things to this takistan mission (like Altis), more the better.

    Also, there might be a bug with vehicle repair/refuel/rearm. If it gets used once does everyone have to wait 100 time to use again? We seem to have one use it and not being able to be used again.

    Again love the missions.


  8. Is your updated version fatigue off working for Takistan?

    Altis works fine when using old vas system, takistan seems to be overridden by the arma3 vas system, fatigue indicator at bottom left - where does that come from?

    Come to think of it the taki mission was running with no fatigue with new vas system before updated file.

    Hmmm, seems I stuffed my edition up. Something I have added.

    And for the empty/destroyed vehicle , they only disapear once you're 1km away from them , since they can provide good cover .

    Thanks. Guys here are really enjoying the mission. I also added grenadestop and safezone to base to stop twits coming in and killing/destroying everything. (bloody annoying).

    Will update mission our end and carry on.


  10. Hey , thanks for your feedback .

    I'll add an option to disable fatigue in the next patch ,

    And for the revive getting you naked : it's usually caused by the virtual arsenal ( BTC Revive is not yet fully compatible with it )

    So if you want to fix it you just have to save + load your equipement with the VAS .

    Had a really good time last night although noticed destroyed or damaged vehicles do not disappear. Love the smoke effects.

    Going to load up the takistan version and take on the talitubbies.

    edit: saw that you have a cleanup script.


  11. Have played this last night for first time. Enjoyed it except for the awful fatigue system BI have implemented in latest version. Makes playing any mission near impossible.

    Due to that I found this little script to remove fatigue. Place it in files as stated and away you go.

    Good job on this mission

    oh yeah, got shot and other player revived but in doing so he stripped me of all weapons and gear, including clothing. Any ideas why?
