  1. I'm not saying the game is incomplete and complaining. Why the harsh reception? It was just some ideas. Mods lock/delete this thread please?

    AI Improvement

    One thing I'm looking for is AI simply seeking natural cover, the infantry showcase is somewhat poor because it seems the AI still refuse to find cover behind rocks/trees using the appropriate stances and by the time Alpha squad reaches the village on average the entire squad is dead with the exception of the player. I've some times been able to make it with 2-3 guy still alive, plus all of Bravo and Charlie, but the AI simply hitting the deck instead of running behind a tree the peeking out and shooting is costing us a lot of lives.

It's been a countless amount of times my character has lost his "adjusted" stance (I.E, a low crouch is lost while crouch running; your character loses his low stance, and becomes more vulnerable to fire) whilst running or reloading. There's been a few "oh crap" moments when I am in a certain stance, tap the reload key and my character goes to the default stance (again, going from a low crouch to a defaulted crouch) and nearly gets his head shot off. This is not a huge deal in SP, more of a big deal in MP, because human beings track movement more reliably, obviously, and sticking my head up unintentionally and getting it blown off by a marksman would make for a pretty crappy end to the evening. Suggestions to the devs: I understand this is alpha, but to correct this issue, a possibility is to make a new walking/tactical/jogging sprinting animation for every adjusted stance instead of going into default stance every time your character even moves a foot or reloads. (also, adjusted stance reloads) So, for a high stand, there should be a running animation with the character fully upright, a slightly lowered running animation whilst in low stand, (the medium run is already there) a high crouch running animation, (medium crouch is already there) and a low crouch run where the character's body is low to the ground just like it is when stopped. Also, reload animations specifically for adjusted stances..... mentioned 3 times in the paragraph above.... so one does not go back into the defaulted stance when reloading. Thanks BIS, really looking forward to this game being released!
