  1. Hey Wabbit, I have a problem with vac. I've had it running before a while ago when Arma was still in beta. I tried to run it today and I updated to the newest version but I don't think that is the problem. I've read about starting it in administrator mode and I do that but when I left click on the icon in the tray and click on VAC builder to run this is the error I get. "Component 'Tabctl32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" I'm registered with VAC and have a key so that isn't the problem. When I go to the folder and try and run the VAC builder it comes up but I don't think it is running in administrative mode because when I try and run it using the left click and administrator mode I get the same error. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks ScalpelOne

    Giallustio, Posted this question on Armaholic also but you seem more active here. Sorry for double post. I have a few questions and I do love your program. When I'm playing multi player and there are AI units in my group with a special load out, when they die they respawn with the original game load out for that type of unit. Is there anyway I can get it to respawn them with the load out that I gave them? The multi player units respawn fine with the stuff on them that they had when they died but the AI always respawn with original game gear.     Make units join group leader.

    Ok I've read this post and several others but I still can't get what I want done. I have a mission where I want unit G1, to join the players unit even after the starting player unit P1 might have been killed and the player has switched to another unit in that group, P2, P3, P4 etc. I can get G1 to join the original player unit P1 but if that unit dies and the player switches to another unit in his group then I can't get G1 to join that now active player unit. Also If the original player unit dies and the player switches to another unit in the group that unit or any other unit other than the original one can not see the obj's to take them. Is there a fix for that as well?

  6. First off thanks for any help I can get. I have a lot of missions that I have made since the Beta has come out. I have been gone on vacation and have just now gotten back on so I didn't see this last update Thursday 25th July 2013 until tonight. I also have been messing around with Play with Six updater for ArmA 2. Tonight I went back into ArmA 3 editor since getting back and my missions are all gone. I looked in the folder and they are all there but they won't show up in the editor. I can play them as a mission and MP mission but I can't see them in the editor anymore. I did just down load some mods and I copied some files named "Key" to the folder. I can't remember if this was there before or not and I don't know if that has something to do with me not seeing my missions but I doubt it. Any help I can get I would be appreciated. Like I said they are all still in the folder they just won't show up in the editor. Funny thing is I made a "testman" mission and saved it and it doesn't show up in the missions folder but when I restart the game I can call it up to edit it so it has to be saving or pulling missions from some where else. thanks, ScalpelOne ---------- Post added at 07:02 ---------- Previous post was at 06:51 ---------- False Alarm Mystery Solved! Sorry all for the post. I have found them. While I was away my son made a new profile and left it on.   7. Goblin, Thanks so much for the reply. It worked with out a problem. I'm new to scripts and do most of my making of scenarios through the in-game editor. Maybe I can ask you another question. I'm not quite sure how to get up the opening graphic, name of scenario, description of my game and my name. If you could point me out to a decent script one that is not too complicated or explain if it isn't too much trouble. Thanks again, I didn't even think about replacing it. Wish I new more.
  8. New to scripting here. I have a mission where I put into the game through the editor, populate village. Now evidently it has been taken out of the game but it continues to give me an error. I would like to take it out of my scripts but I don't know how. Any help would be appreciated. The complete error is- mpmissions\_ _cur_mp.Stratis\mission.sqm/Mission/Groups/Item65/Vehicles/Item0.Vehicle:Vehicle class Site_Civilian no longer exists any help would be appreciated.:D Thanks ScalpelOne
