Not sure if asked already but, is there plans in the future (or currently available) that allows users to setup something (Like a antennae or dish, etc.) in order to establish communications with somewhere much further away? My unit currently is deployed on Clafghan where the deep and tall valleys prevents a lot of these FOBs from communicating with the main base for support. They end up sending a guy to the mountain top (which can be dangerous) in order to communicate with the next closest base and repeat the entire process in order to bounce the message all the way to command. Would be nice if I could have each unit setup an antennae on the mountain peaks nearest to them and setup a nice network between all the FOB's and base.

    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

    I have to agree with this. RHS has some of the nicest HMMWV's in ArmA 3 (That I am aware of). The biggest downside is the lack of up-armored HMMWV's and a TOW variant. Makes being the gunner right now the most dangerous position during a patrol/mission.

    I noticed that the units don't engage you from very far. Usually about 200m. Even with config edits and so forth, it only benefits the vanilla units (CSAT and stuff). Any solution to make Insurgents engage you from like 500-700+ meters?

    I really don't want to sound like a idiot here but a long time ago, the US Pack had to be used with the Russian pack. They originally stated this was going to be fixed in a later update. Has this been addressed? Can we use it separately?
  7. Major changes have occured in the last two weeks since we have announced our presence! The unit has nearly doubled in it's size since it began and we are preparing to open our next squad! However there is a few new details we wish to announce that those interested in a unit might like! Rotary Aviation and Fixed Wing Aviation! FireFly 1 dropping off a container loaded with fortifications for use by 1st Platoon, Alpha Squad in their new FOB. Due to our new deployment area, we require a lot more from our air crews in terms of Logistics, CAS and Reconnaissance. As shown in the picture above from our last Operation, we absolutely love logistics. However, due note that not every patrol/operation may need rotary/fixed-wing aviation. We are merely opening it due to CURRENT DEMAND and most likely will need only a few skilled dedicated pilots to perform our required needs and will need more of them as our unit grows. New Deployment! A Grenadier from Alpha Squad, 1st Fireteam overlooks a valley from FOB Robstrepo. The 38th Infantry Division has finally moved to Clafghan where many opportunities await for all roles. From recon/SF to fixed wing and rotary, we hope this map will flesh out everything people enjoy doing in the ArmA universe.   9. So I tried looking around for a fix to this problem but the only one out there involves how the Steam Workshop is causing it. However, first off I don't use the Steam workshop. At all, secondly I still tried their method and it did not work. As for the main problem. Every time I try to "create" a server (Press create and enter server name and password, etc) the instant I click the next button, the game freezes and stops responding. I don't have any other ideas for a fix. Anyone else?
  10. I was going through the weapons section of the Launch Countdown and seemed to notice that there were a lack of shotguns. I am sure though that making every weapon type available to every faction is difficult; On top of that, each weapon has to be made from scratch, no references from real-world or anything of the sort (so I think). Will there be shotguns available at release, or in a DLC? If not then I am guessing I will have to wait till someone makes one or more as an addon.
  11. So currently, I am trying to add objectives to the map that I am in. The issue? The screen where you can edit the objectives information, such as who are the attackers/defenders has missing info. A example of this is below: http://i.imgur.com/L0MnLup.jpg (439 kB) Is there any fix to this at the moment? I am unable to do any objectives because I can't set Opfor/etc as attackers or defenders.

    Interesting. Setting myself up as a Zeus Virtual Entity (In the Game Logic section) fixes this issue. So maybe I am forced to be a virtual entity if I want proper objectives? Seems a bit messed up to me, considering the fact I am no longer a controllable character and would instead have to use a AI which has it's own issues. Hmmm...

  14. This has been an issue on my scenario for quite some time. I am creating a mission where three blackhawks crest over a mountain, go down the other side and over a town before landing on a beach at night. In the town are quite a few soldiers with guns (obviously). The issue is that when the blackhawks get near the town and proceed to take fire, they instantly pull up like a bunch of rearing horses and turn around and proceed to do circles or really wide orbits and end up slamming into something thus killing everyone. Is there a way to fix this so that they ignore the gunfire and force land on the beach no matter what? Thanks ahead!
