My Original Question:
Global ban persists on other steam accounts?
I really want to continue playing DayZ until its standalone and also just be able to get on and play OA!
However my steam account has been globally banned, i have been in contact with BI support to try and help and am in the process of trying to resolve the issue, however even if i log onto a friends steam account while they're not playing to try and get on it still says that i have been globally banned and i'm pretty sure that the #blahblah code is the same.
If i can not get this resolved through BI Support i was debating on buying the game again on a new steam account however if it still says Global ban on a friends steam account i don't want to pay for the game on a new account and end up saying i'm still globally banned
I hope my situation is understandable as i'm not sure how clearly i've explained, thanks.
Reply 1:
I beleive this is an account of IP ban as in the case of like a Xbox being banned from xbox live this is like your case were as it isn't your game it is the pc/ steam account
in this case theres nothing you can do at all.
- Sorry and hope this was help!
(I'm not banned from steam i'm banned from OA on not only mine but my friends account too, how is this even possible?)
Reply 2(Mod):
If you're banned from steam, you will have to contact steam.
If you were banned by battleye, see this thread.

BI isn't involved in banning users from any game services.
(I'm not banned from steam, and this thread has no relevance to my question/situation)
