Hi there everyone! I've been playing Arma 2 on a barely capable PC with low settings since it came out. I recently bought a new PC, and I made sure it was going to be able to handle Arma 2/OA with no problems. After installing both Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead, I was very let down by the fact that I can still only seem to get a playable frame rate on almost lowest settings. My PC specs are: CPU: AMD FX-8350 (8x4.0 GHz w/ 8Mb L2 cache) RAM: 8 Gb DDR3-1866 (2x4Gb) GPU: AMD Radeon HD7770 1Gb OS: Win 7 64-bit I have tried some of the suggestions I've found through search engines and these forums (ie. turning resolution down, turning off certain graphic settings, etc.), but nothing has helped so far. I am pretty familiar with PC gaming and tweaking in general, but I'm just not able to figure out why a PC that blows the recommended specs out of the water can only get around 18-22 FPS on medium settings. My video card may not be the greatest of all time, but its much better than the recommended specs and I'm able to play many other graphically intense games on max and ultra settings, and I have nothing running in the background. I'm very disappointed about this issue and any suggestions to help solve it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
