Hello saul and jhon. Feedback of the last version : awesome ! Even if i miss how to be air refueled by a friend in MP . XD my bad ><" Request : There is no information about air radar lock ! I mean if an enemy is trying to lock our aircraft we have 0 information so we are informed about a danger only when the missile is departing from the other aircraft or from a launcher. With the AH-99 blackfoot we have this information. It could be great to also have it in the F-18 and the future russian Aircraft. Thanks for reading me. -

Ejection is always working for me with the E version. @Saul : We don't know why we encounter this problem now the FLIR is working correctly. At higher altitude some have difficulty to lock their own laser but it is maybe a game limitation ? Edit : i just saw the message of spartan. So this is why it is working for me xD. -

I play always at 6km of visibility and 3km of object. I tried with 7km at 2000meters of altitude. Nothing happen and i was in single player as WSO. The pilot was a bot. With or Without mods, nothing happen. The same for my friends. -

@SAUL : It happens with CBA, JSRS sounds, ACRE, R3F weapons in MP missions (jsut funny mission to try the capability of the F-18). Request : Is it possible to have a F-18 for training ? I mean having for the back place the possibility to take control of the aircraft and the pilot's HUD ( IRL : the rear place have a video of the front HUD. It mean the rear pilot see the HUD + the front of the A/C ) -

Yop All , just to report few error with the F-18. => GBU-12 problem : issue :In multiplayer when you are flying with the F version, your WSO can not guide GBU12 with the ATFLIR. => Flaps problem : issue : On the F-18 that you have created the leading edge flaps are moving like elevator with elevator. Check the N°1 : http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/21/800px-Slat_A319_colore.jpg In game : when you push on the stick, the elevator is moving down (it is normal). but leading edge flaps are also moving down (it is not correct). Leading edge flaps are not moving with the stick but with the speed (and angle of attack) or with manual switch. -

Issue : On the F-18 that you have created the leading edge flaps are moving like elevator with elevator. Nothing is affected by the wind, even bullets are not. The only way to creat wind interaction is to creat script. Some script are already done for bullets, but i don't know if some have been created for vehicule interaction. -

Yep, my bad i didn't write the good thing. I would said that LGB12 is GBU12 not LGB. Thank you for laser guidance. Hope you will find a secrect to improve this point :). Sorry if i miss informations, but you are working on JDAM isn't it ? Will they work for example in the next update ?Thanks. -

I would Report some issu with the F-18 weapons. With GBU-12 you can lock laser designator only if you are at low altitude , and you need to have the target lock like missile before shot. Like other said JDAM is working with GPS. Issue : With clear sky , at 5200m ( it depend also with the distance ) you will lost the laser designator target. Issue 2 : If you are not at visual range of the target disgnated by the laser, you won't be able to have the lock. So you can't shot. IRL with the weather is clear, and if you are aiming the laser target, your bomb will be able to lock the laser target. Question : Is it possible to find solutions to those issue ? Thanks. Issue : Wrong name of bombs. GBU = Guided Bomb Unit ( the bomb is guided by LASER ). So LGBU Do not exist. Issue : Wrong name of bombs. Bomb without laser guide system are MK-XX . For GBU 12 , without the laser guide system it is : MK82. Question : is it possible to give the good name ? Thanks. -

all helicopter in the game have a Vertical Speed ( VZ ) of 680m/minute, it is close to the reality even if some new model can go to 850m/minute. So i think it is realistic but maybe some helicopter should have a better power to gain altitude. The Vx acceleration is not realistic, you can go over the VNE ( for exemple UH80 you can see the VNE at 140 knots ) and you can fly with at 0.3 or 0.5 time above the VNE easily, but you have problem to gain altitude. I think this is the only point to improve about power of helicopter. But for all the rest of your idea, it is very good ! hope part of your idea will be implement in the game ( by gamer vote ) and it is good idea for fighter helicopter and transport helicopter. -
I'm sad to see that the island in game will be 75% of the real island, because i creat lower mountain, so it is less realistic, i mean in helicoper you can fly over the island for 8 minutes ... So fighter jet a so useless, you will pass the island in 4 minutes .... =/

Hello all, sorry to don't reply sooner. I saw that many people are thinking about wind interaction in the game. I read that bullets could be moved by wind. So for exemple it could be good to request to BIS, by a ticket, to work on wind-bullets interaction ( because it exist with mods, so why not in the original game ?) and cloud celling level. What do you think about this kind of request ? It could be a good way for ARMA 3 improvement. Imagine a mission a little bit windy and in wind due to high altitude. I could improve the realism of the game and the role play feeling.

Hello all, I don't know if i should post this thread on ARMA 3 - Alpha or ARMA 3 - GENERAL, but i think is a better way to post here. As many of you i tried the Alpha version of the game, and i tried to explore it. And i found some things about the weather. First Clouds are totally perfect ! But we can't choose their altitude. Why are we not able to select the altitude of perfect 3D clouds ? I mean, for a map with mountain, of for mission with helicopters it will be more realistic if clouds can have a lower altitude... That mean maybe helicopter drop is not possible. It is just an idea to explore maybe. Second The wind... The wind have a very nice effect on clouds. This is very good ! Why does the wind is pushing clouds very fast and our helicopter is not moving at all ? It should be interesting to link the effect of wind to the clouds of course, but to the air vehicles ... Because when you are airborne , in theory you should move with clouds the same speed. This is my second way to explore. Why do you think about it ? (in order to improve the game ) Thank you.

I agree with that this is not the most important thing for the game, just a way to improve the realism. Do you think It is possible by mod to improve both point ? As I read arma miss people from realistic air simulation. And it is true , few people from fsx our falcon 4.0 bms come on arma due to the important ARCADE way of aircraft and helicopter in the game.
