  1. Hello, I upgraded to a new computer not too long ago. With my old one I was able to use my headset to change songs in game, but with this new computer, I am unable to pause mute or change songs with the game up. However if I use WMP it tends to work. Is this something anyone else has experienced and possibly found a workaround for? I have even gone so far as to uninstall itunes and redownload the old one I was using on my old computer (10.6.3)

Please Give Arma Lite Passes Multiplayer

Thats someone asking why, I'm not asking why, I'm asking the communities opinion on the matter. Polls like this have been known to sway companies hands in other directions during alphas of games.
  3. I dont know about anyone else, but I know a solid 50-60 people that all buy/play arma for the multiplayer aspect. Without it the game pretty much holds no value to most of them, or me. Now obviously this is an alpha, but one thing I do not want to see is multiplayer getting the shaft because its not the forefront of their development. Obviously it shouldnt be, but it should get a decent workover. I bought into the alpha to help it progress and grow from the stages of buggyness that its in now. And I know quite a few people that would love to get into it, but are skeptical of it really being worth the money yet. So heres my thing, why not let alpha lite play online/multiplayer just so people can get a feel for what its really like. Make the keys only valid for 24-48 hours or something and make sure all the lite keys link back to the main key so that scripting tools cant abuse the system. As it stands the lite keys are absolutely worthless, why not give them a purpose and let people invite their friends to join in for a night of fun. I for one know quite a few people who would buy the game after their key ran out. There's a reason that Arma2 sold more copies when DayZ came out than before it came out. People like the realistic multiplayer aspect. Now the new fad is the wasteland mod, and really thats the only reason I bought the game myself. I just feel like you're doing yourselves a disservice not having it work this way. A lot of people would buy into the game in this current form if they could get a taste for the addictiveness multiplayer has to offer. I mean really, who's playing the lite version for more than 24 hours as is already, its pretty stale. There's a ton of content missing from the Alpha, so giving Alpha-lite players MP access wouldn't be giving them the same as what you've paid for, because you've paid for the full game on release. They would be getting a day to try multiplayer
  4. They would need to make indies not be considered friendlies still, which seems to be quite the issue for them
  5. Multiplayer will just have to deal with taking a back seat to the actual game development
