US soldiers are some tricky thing to convert and there are lots of problems with them, so for now they are replaced by modern troopers, however, as its written in the post, those who want to try to convert them in a way that USSR and Germany troppers were converted are welcome. PS: Guys who tested IF A3 - can you write a small review - what you liked, what you didnt like? PPS: Might be after few following updates, i ll try again to convert them, but that wont be soon, as theres lot of things to do first.
  2. I may only add that this thing hopefully will come out with all the A3 fancy things like vests, helmets, belts, paradrop system, cloths, weapon effects and so on.

Hi guys i have a next situation: i have a model from A2 which i want to port into A3 environment, model already have all the required selections and weight definitions, however couple of moments were wrong so i fixed them in O2 by new mapping. When i run A3 model itself works correctly, but in dump file during loading it writes that model have a problem - Warning: mod\model.p3d:shadow(1000), vertex: 2366, sum of weights is 71, should be 100. I got lots of such warnings, so mine question is - do O2 have any tool to automatically fix this thing, or is there any procedure of correcting such mistakes? PS: Sorry for my English.

    PuFu, can you pls give a more detailed answer or give a link on a tutorial where somebody check that weights are all in order, cause im really noob and i dont have a clue how this can be done.
  6. Guys, do anyone know what units are used for those variables or may be can clear up the situation? I mean what, for example, mass = 10 mean, is it 10 kg or 10 pounds or what. Same refers to armor - armor = 3*0.5; - what means 3 and what means 0.5?
  7. The problem seems to be simple, but since im noob for me at given moment its unsolvable, so may be somebody knows how to solve it, or have a tip on how to solve similar things. The problem itself is: i want a model of a radio to be on players character model, so if a player has radio in radio slot radio mesh will be present in selected location on a character model, otherwise not present. Sorry for mine bad englsih :o.

    Low CPU utilization & Low FPS

    Last patch improved mine perfomance in MP (Wasteland), so it never drops below 40 fps (when im inside of the land and sea cant bee seen - otherwise it drops to 20+ fps (moreover i can stand on the shore and look only at the sea it will be 30 fps no matter if its near or medium or insane view range)), i would say its 50+ in average (depends on where are u looking at). It must be said that in contrast to the previous patch increasing of view drops fps dramatically (in near it 50+ average, when u looking at far situated objects, and 30+ average in medium also when u looking at far situated objects). Moreover for now usage of 1st core is about 80% in peaks, other cores about 30 (when near) to contrast of previous pacth with~50%. Config - i5 3570k overclocked 4,2;Asus gtx 670 Direct CII overcloced PS: Sorry for my English. PS: Settings - Ultra. Posteffects not enabled.
