gruso started following Portable MiniDayZ

Yep, looks like it's had a quiet launch in a few regions. http://toucharcade.com/2016/12/20/mini-dayz-the-free-pixelated-day-z-has-soft-launched/ Here's the itunes Canada link, you'll need a VPN/proxy to see it if you're elsewhere: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/mini-dayz-survival-game/id1141343378?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4 Question for dev(s): Now that you've done the hard work taking this to ARM, would you be willing to look at a port for the OpenPandora / Pyra systems? To be honest it wouldn't be a strong commercial proposition, as it's a relatively small open source / homebrew scene (which is also home to some immense dev talent). But the hardware is perfect for a game like this, with full gaming controls & QWERTY along with touchscreen. If there's any interest I could donate some hardware.

Just want to chime in and say I'm not having this issue on my Nvidia laptop (specs in sig). I need to confirm my driver version - I'm not sure it's the latest. This makes me wonder if it's worth experimenting with the -maxVRAM launch parameter.

Just to throw some more data in, no issues for me via HDMI audio.

Sound issues here too (of a different nature): https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/188920-sitrep-00146-154-greenlit-for-mac-linux/?p=2993882

1.54 doesn't seem to like my little USB sound card. All sounds are just scratchy static. The internal speakers (it's a laptop) work fine. Ubuntu Gnome 15.10 Laptop details External soundcard is a StarTech ICUSBAUDIO2D lshw output (html) On more positive notes: The annoyance of right clicking occasionally bringing up the desktop context menu in-game appears to be gone (so far). Signs of improved mod compatibility. That is to say the old version of SSPCM I had loaded now works - woot. More testing to do. In general, great to be on the newer version!

https://dev.arma3.com/post/sitrep-00146 B) At this point I'm looking forward to Eden even more than BE. Such a game changer just to fire up and fool around with. As they say, baby steps...

First, just wanted to thank BIS for the Linux port. My main rig is still Windows, but I wanted to go Linux on my new laptop, and having access to Arma 3 helped seal the deal. I'd completely leave Windows behind if I could, so I hope this port keeps moving forward. Ark getting cross-platform BattlEye is certainly tantalising! It was mentioned earlier in the thread that older mods/addons work, presumably by adding to launch parameters. I'm familiar with this method of course, but not having any luck in the Linux version. CBA loads, but none of the ShackTac HUD mods, or the planes below. Any ideas? http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=26067 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=28190 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=24094
