  1. Operation Eagle Eye's By Tomsz Description: Ok, Listen up Soldier! You have been specially chosen along with your Spotter for Operation Eagle Eyes, We have intel on Colonel. Kranburg and Major. Lekson that they are heading to Camp Tempest during the week, of which day we are un-sure that's why we have deployed your team. Colonel. Kranburg and Major. Lekson were both caught observing one of our Bases but managed to get away but was successfully ID'd, both wearing Red Hats and we are worried with the intel he has of our Base/Size he could be planning an attack with his platoon from Camp Tempest, so you are to Assassinate both of them when they return to Camp Tempest, Do not screw up Sniper! We chose you because you are one of the best Snipers in our Country and you have a damn good Spotter! 7:31am - You have been conducting close surveillance and gaining intel from Camp Tempest with your Spotter for the past 2 days now you cannot extract until the mission is complete, you have received intel the convoy containing the 2 Targets are close by. Remember the sniper rule do not fire more than 2 shots from one location, remember the wind/range and bullet drop factors when shooting, be precise! Do not get spotted and stay low or you better hope a mortar doesn't have your name on it or even counter-snipered, so pick your shots and take your time! Hector has been assigned to be your spotter today your mission is to go deep behind enemy lines to Assassinate two high ranked Taliban leader's by the name of Hakim and Ghani and also to destroy a stolen HMV located close by in a remote village all while avoiding enemy patrols throughout the woods and surrounding mountains. you can you view their descriptions in the first two image's as they are wearing different clothes to the regular insurgents to keep in mind during the mission to help recognize your targets & these men are wanted for murder and leading a criminal organization which is the Taliban, you will leave Altis Airbaise approximately 12:10 am after the commander has briefed you on your assignment & while gearing up make sure to grab a green smoke grenade used for extraction, you are then to order your spotter into the nearby ghost hawk and get ready for insertion, stay low and do not compromise the mission. Features: - No requirements to play just download the Mission. - Patrolling Taliban Units & Each playthrough has them in random positions so it will always feel different. - Briefing - Insertion & Extraction. - Enemy are all dressed in Taliban like clothing and vehicles. - Night Ops Mission , it can go into daytime if you take your time it depends how you like to play there is no time limit. - The Enemy do not have any NVG as they are Taliban insurgents but are using flashlights. - Virtual Ammobox System (VAS) Download Armaholic Steam Workshop Installation Extract the .pbo file(s) to your Steam/SteamApps/common/ArmA 3/Missions folder for Singleplayer.     Comments from Steam: Heron 17 hours ago One of the best missions i've played or attempted atleast. Quality peech 5 Apr @ 5:33am great mission nice playtime no bugs ! ot5u9v 5 Apr @ 2:25am Impressive and intense mission!... The AO crawls with hostiles, as it should be! No bugs encountered... I highly recommend it!

    You really don't know what your doing do you? there is a Virtual Ammobox System to customize your loadout before taking off, and the downed chopper is not blufor's..it is an opfor hellcat you can use a silencer just customize your loadout as your suppose to do and yes the spotter is wearing NVG's.. and so are you to begin with and it's up to you to get the right scopes for the mission from the ammobox and if you listened I told you to gear up from it before taking off.

    Hello I am using Altis and also no mods are in the mission or integrated into the mission, it is all unique apart from VAS (Virtual Ammobox System) hope you enjoy the mission & let me know what you think I will also be looking to make Day 2 in the next month so if you have any suggestions or ideas I will consider using them for Day 2 which will be the next part of the story.

Hey so I have the .paa file I want to use that I re-textured for an exisiting arma3 rifle, I just need a detailed explanation and/or a weapon.cfg/config.cpp sample showing me what to change for my texture to be usable, so I would have the Standard Textured Rifle and then the Re-Textured Rifle and not have them interfere with each other, Currently I can't even replace the current texture with my re-texture as I am stuck on how to get it into the game, I have been looking for the past 2 days on how to do it, But havn't found a detailed tutorial and only finding a bunch of weapon.cfg examples but in looking at them I don't see what I need to do or change to get my re-texture into the game as I am quite new with this so I would greatly appreciate if anyone could provide me a sample to just edit with my file names or something ??

Hi guys, I would like to know how I would add a scope to make it compatible with my weapon mod I have from Arma2, like I have tried putting this into the weapons cfg class CowsSlot : SlotInfo { // targetProxy linkProxy = "\A3\data_f\proxies\weapon_slots\TOP"; // display name displayName = $STR_A3_CowsSlot0; // class names with items supported by weapon compatibleItems[] = {"optic_Arco","optic_aco", "optic_ACO_grn","optic_hamr","optic_Holosight"}; }; But before start-up of Arma3 I get undefined basis cows slot info, Or even how would I change the default Zeroing on the current scope attached to the gun would that make it easier? as I am just swapping scopes specifically because I do not know how to edit the Arma2 Weapon scope to change it from 300m to 1000m in the files, any help is greatly appreciated thanks!
  14. I'm trying to edit someone elses mod for my own use, Though I'm not very good at mod'ing weapons, How would I make the scope compatible for the arma2 weapon? Like what do I need to put into the weapon.cfg file etc? thanks for your help.

  17. Awesome can't wait for the update! Any chance you could make a mod to allow us to use the GM6 lynx? Like you did with the ghillie suits (which are awesome) I don't know if this is possible but thought it was worth the try to see if your awesome skills could do it. :D thanks once again g00d69 for your awesome contributions to the game of Arma3!
  18. Sorry. recently Arma3 had an update of changing the MXM from a 7.62 to to a 6.5mm but go to the backpack select ammobox and find any gun you like, essentially an EBR 7.62 or if you have any gun mods it will show up in the backpack.

  20. he has added ''percing'' bullets which pretty much do what you have said, only diff is that they don't have the lil explosion on impact however still does close to what the real bullet does by actually going through walls (As I have tested shooting the Enemys through concrete barriers etc in my missions), though maybe if he could add the incendiary to the ''percing bullets'' upon impact would be awesome! I'd definitely be listening to J_Thompson's comments as he knows how the gun handles in real life and as we want the gun in-game to simulate that of real life. :D

  22. Hey I just mean when you aim down the scope and place it over a target it should become a lot more steady if you are laying down kind of as if the bipod is helping to make the scope more stable when laying down, do I make sense?
