Hi guys, I would like to know how I would add a scope to make it compatible with my weapon mod I have from Arma2, like I have tried putting this into the weapons cfg class CowsSlot : SlotInfo { // targetProxy linkProxy = "\A3\data_f\proxies\weapon_slots\TOP"; // display name displayName = $STR_A3_CowsSlot0; // class names with items supported by weapon compatibleItems[] = {"optic_Arco","optic_aco", "optic_ACO_grn","optic_hamr","optic_Holosight" }; }; But before start-up of Arma3 I get undefined basis cows slot info, Or even how would I change the default Zeroing on the current scope attached to the gun would that make it easier? as I am just swapping scopes specifically because I do not know how to edit the Arma2 Weapon scope to change it from 300m to 1000m in the files, any help is greatly appreciated thanks!
  3. Go to Multiplayer then Select LAN then select Operation Eagle Eyes then press ok and select the unit, Make sure to place the file into MPmissions not SPmissions.. I'm positive that works, It does for me? give it a try and let me know if it worked or not, it should.

Hey when you join a server, if they are using a Mod it will not let you join unless you have that specific Mod, Now what I am suggesting is that when you join a server if that server has a mod/s requirement then it should automatically download the mods while joining, just like in CoD..Now don't say well this isn't CoD because that does not mean we shouldn't have a system similar to that of joining a server and having a option to set it to auto download the mod/requirements, Due to this reason no servers use Mods, Now if it was to auto download the required Mods upon entering the server we would have a lot more servers running these awesome Mods people have spent their time making, I think this needs to be brough to BIS' attention immediately if not confirmed, thanks.

Ok guys, are you placing this in the MP missions folder? then selecting the mission then pressing ok then select your player, I will update a new version for everyone so there isn't any troubles by this I mean taking the co-op aspect out of it as this seems to be a problem with people though it could be due to you guys using the dev build, I will post an updated Singleplayer only link shortly, thanks for the feedback!
  7. I totally agree with everything you said!! Especially if he made a M40A1like the United States Marine Core(USMC) use.. I would jizz in my pants real fast!!!! Edit: Found a Error with your Scope, Each Mildot is suppose to represent 100m/yards, on your scope it is Zeroed in at 300m I had a target at 446m so that's 1 Mildot and a half above the target, however it kept missing and I could see my Splash hit 1.5feet from the target and adjusted for it but to no good and then Adjusted 3mildots high which represents 600m with the zeroing set to 300m and the target being 446m and it was a hit...this is very wrong and I am sure it is ur scope! I added a diff scope to ur mod and was working fine with them Mildots with zeroing set to 300m also, you should look into this, I have tried multiple times and found it is the scope. P.S other than the faulty scope I think it's a very good update and the percing bullets are AWESOME I am hitting targets proned behind concrete barriers in my mission, it is like real life!! Your work is greatly appreciated by the Arma Community g00d69, Thank you!
  8. Hi as the title says I would like to change my scopes default zeroing which is at 1200m to like 800m, How would I do this? what needs to be changed in the config.bin file? thanks guys!

Hey guys I am hoping one of you will know how I would go about add'ing a custom scope to a gun, the gun I'm referring to is able to use both ARCO and RCO scopes but I have a scope I want to attach but when I have the gun and try to add the scope it doesn't allow it, how would I fix this? all help is greatly appreciated!

  11. It's a very nice model - at the same time I think the gun fire is more realistic than it previously was, You actually get shot before you hear the report of the rifle being shot with a sniper in real life. So this should not be adjusted at all imo...
  12. Yeah it's a great mission! I thought that was a good intro also :), and yeah I can add a Heli Insertion if you'd like? I had just placed yous there to continue on from the story of You and the Spotter gaining intel and doing surveillance of the Camp for 2 days, so It didn't make sense if I added a heli insertion.. However I am open to add'ing new stuff that you guys might like and/or prefer so just let me know if you have any ideas, I'll start working on a Heli Insertion for you Unknown03 :) I'll keep you updated. Ok, the Difficulty settings your looking at are on the left ok? Look to the right there is a list of missions click Operation Eagle Eyes - Click Play then a new window opens with 2 units both currently set to AI click the top class/position.
  13. hey g00d69 how would I add my own scope to ur mod to use for the gun? currently can't attach my preffered custom scope in-game, so how would I do this with the files like where would I place/name it inside the mod?

Oh I see you're trying to say because it's an alpha that's the reason why we have a shit system.. so when the full game is released you are saying that a full working - compatible system to kick/ban hackers will be implemented? Well I tell you now this current system (battlefail) will not be changed.... it is the full version of battlefail. they don't add half of battleye you moron, your statement is invalid. OH ITS JUST AN ALPHA.. WE'RE NOT TALKING GAMEPLAY DICKHEAD. GET IT THROUGH UR HEAD.
  18. Because bi refuse to put some of our payed dollars into a good system for multiplayer, wtf is this shitty battleye? All that money you've made from us fans and you cannot even implement a good system to get rid of these hackers and cannot even identify them, why don't you go and add punkbuster or something useful!!

Ok after patch 0.52 update I cannot find any australian servers within the browser for Arma3 itself, Now this only happened after the update, and I therefore had to use sixconfigbrowser which is a seperate app just to find an Australian Arma 3 server ( I find this ridiculous ) as before the patch I had no issues finding one. Now when I joined the australian server I had 500 ping/ms which is REALLY odd, Considering my internet is not cap'd and I get ping from 0 - 50 in an Australian server, Now my main issue here is why the servers will not show up in the browser and the absurd amount of latency (whatever you wanna name it), this was not an Update..... this was a disgrace.

Hey guys I've recently been working on a singleplayer mission that is a diving mission which is ambushing an enemy island, and it is finally complete, I may update it and if I do I'll post an updated link here. Basically there is a squad of 6 divers set out to ambush this enemy island 'X' and the objectives are to blow up their special weapon boxes and their helicopter to complete the mission, You are the team leader, Also the enemy are without any night vision goggles to their stupidity and so they have sent a team of 4 divers to obtain a box of night vision goggles from their friendly base 2.5kms away.. not knowing the base they are trying to set up on island 'X' is about to be ambushed by an elite squad of 6 divers.
