Hey @lsd! Are you still active in developing this/adding content to it?

Depending on what you're looking for; I'm nowhere near at the skill of some people, but I could give you some help if you like. Contact me on discord if you want to have a chat about it. Discord: Pek#4963

Yeah, I know. Its a pretty complicated UV Map.
-
If you want it different, Someone would have to go in the model and redo the UV mapping completely. That means; import into Blender/Maya/3DS MAX and unwrap it again and re aligning all the UV's. Which in turn would lead to the helicopter being different, which then requires its own addon. I don't expect to find many here who'd want to go through all that work.

I've been trying to get boxes to trigger a trigger once they're inside. I tried (box1 in thislist) and for some reason that didn't give any results what-so-ever. The ideal set-up would be where players load up a truck with crates/ammoboxes ect (Using ACE) then when they arrive they unpack the supplies and bring them to a drop-off point which will only trigger if all the items are inside the trigger. Basically I'm trying to figure out how to do that, and if its possible taking ACE logistics into account (As I think the items are despawned and respawned when loading them in and out of a vehicle) Any help would be appreciated! 🙂 Fixed it myself. I completely forgot a activation type... You can close the thread if you want.

I feel like such a retard.. My mistake! What's the best FOV for pictures? I tried my normal one (90) and a more zoomed one (60) and both seem to give different results and both have their cons.

Can someone explain how to make a respawn location on players

I'm not sure about how to go about it without any scripting. You could try this:- 1 reply

You running any mods what-so-ever? Me and a friend had the same issue a few weeks back and uninstalling all audio based mods and reinstalling them fixed it.

Try the A3 bootcamp and some of the showcase/training missions. It'll give you a good grasp of basic vanilla ArmA controls. Otherwise; Find a bunch of people to play with, Join a public MP server and get ready to free up 50 to 100GB (depending on the dedication) of diskspace for mods. -
[CO06] Roadblock Duty -- (another) remake of an ArmA 2 classic
Pek replied to ligthert's topic in ARMA 3 - USER MISSIONS
If anyone could come up with a method of getting VIEDs working, I'll be sure to worship you. -
The question is straight forward: is there a line of code out there that would render the capture zone "in conflict when both BLUFOr and OFPOR are in the same capture zone. The methode i'm using is Marker (1) > Trigger 1: "1" setMarkerColor "ColorBlue"; hint "SIGINT Reports BLUFOR secured"; Marker (1) > Trigger 2: "1" setMarkerColor "ColorRed"; hint "SIGINT Reports OPFOR secured"; Any help? :)

Having a average to high PC and still having lower FPS then someone with lesser specs
Pek replied to Pek's topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Thanks for all the tips! I'l see what I can do. I never thought Aero takes to much GPU Memory... :/ -
Alright... Its annoying the (insert vulgar language) out of me. I've encountered some people having a lesser setup then I have, and yet having the same FPS or sometimes even better. I have googled many ways to improve my FPS and tried every guide I could possibly find, tweaked the (insert vulgar language here) out of my Nvidia settings and even defragged my hard drive. But for some reason my A3 will still hang around 25-30 FPS on very high. My specs: CPU: AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0ghz RAM: 8GB Lenovo @ 1333Mhz GPU: ASUS GTX 660 2GB DDR5 OC HDD: Samsung 320GB (A3 installed in /D partition) PS: Raider 650W Any suggestion?

The AI is already inproved. Just take a look at A2's AI... But I agree, some tweaking must be done, but I have full confidence BI or a community member will fix it :)

Weird: I don't have the "touch-ground-shooting" bug... Guess what you have is a clientsided glitch..

Hey! First off: welcome to ArmA2! There are some thing you need to know before you start playing Domination and/or other game mods like Patrol Operations or MSO (Multi-session-operations). DayZ and Wasteland are all about grabbing what you can get, and put it somewhere and kill people. Games like Domination and PatrolOps are based around a team of players carrying out mission together. You got a role (like being a medic on blufor in wasteland) and you got to do what that role says. There is less lone wolfing like DayZ, and you actually got to plan stuff and all. Its real fun. Its the reason why I bought ArmA2 in the first place. Second: Playing with mods. When your fairly new to the game, and you do not master all the controls, working with ACE can be a pain in the ****. Beside you have to do other actions to achieve the same, things like wind ect are taking into account as well. ACE also gives you some new things like Putting your weapon on safe, needing batteries for a rangefinder (renamed to Vector 12B nite) and helicopters are more difficult to handle. ACRE will be something strange to you as well. Its a mod which will give you a working (yeah that's right, working!) radio, and you will only hear your teammates when there near (3d sound - like direct comms channel in ArmA2 VON). All this adds up to the realism. Just hop in a community's teamspeak server and i'l bet they will be eager to help you out. Hope you'l have fun in ArmA2!
