Could do with saving. 1km walk after each death becomes tiring. Otherwise it's neat :)

Liked it.. Short, but great for newcomers.. In the same vein as the alpha showcase, and the only heli mission I could see so far. Great work!
  3. Oh, thanks for the clarification! Perhaps these missions would be too complicated for a newcomer to understand, as the first reply suggests. I had no idea this editor is this game was so comprehensive.. I have had my alpha money back already in time spent just playing with that!!
  4. Hi, Just wondering if any of you have played with the joystick options for flying the helicopters.. I have a Thrustmaster T.16000, and I have been having problems setting up the throttle slider. On FSX the throttle slider starts from the bottom and sliding upwards increases throttle speed. On the Arma 3 Alpha, it seems strange because the throttle is fixed at the halfway point.. It states -100 to +100, with the 0 in between being the starting point.. I am trying to map the throttle to make the entire slider increase speed, but the first half of the slider does nothing.. Is this perhaps designed for jets, and the 0 to -100 point would be reverse thrusters?? In any case the controls of the helicopters are pretty good.. Auto-Hover is a bit of a cheat, but it is easy to find yourself resorting to it :)
  5. Sorry, I don't know what "depbo" means. :( .. I never owned an Arma game before. I will keep messing around in the editor to see if anything sticks..
  6. Is it possible to view the showcase missions in the editor, to see how the missions work? I'm struggling to use the editor, despite watching some good tutorials, so I wonder if it's possible to open up the included missions in the editor, to see how they are made? I looked in my Arma folders, but can't see how to open missions in the editor to learn how to make missions, and to see some ideas.. Hope this thread makes sense :)
