    Task Force Arrowhead Radio

That was it. It was calling up an old version of the addon that was tucked away in some forgotten folder on my PC. Thanks, nkey. You're the bees knees.

    Task Force Arrowhead Radio

Plugin and addon both came from the same download. Pretty sure it's the same version as the server, same issue happened on two different servers. My status in TS when I'm playing is "Online", is that what you meant? Thanks for the fast reply, nkey. I appreciate your help.

    Task Force Arrowhead Radio

My group is using TFAR and I seem to have a problem. Here's the best description I can give: If I host my own server, it appears that I can use the radio. i.e. Pressing ctrl-P will bring up the radio, and pressing Caps Lock seems to transmit. However, there is the "FAIL" message in the grey box in the upper right, where XMeds messages would be. If I try to join a server run by my group, I get the message "No Task Force Radio deployed on this server." Pressing Caps Lock does nothing, pressing ctrl-P does nothing. The "FAIL" box is still in the upper right hand corner. I've gone through almost every post in this thread with anything closely related to my issue. I've tried all of the suggestions and even gone as far as to uninstall/reinstall both ArmA 3 and Teamspeak. I'm running the most recent version of Teamspeak (3.0.14). There doesn't seem to be any issue with Teamspeak, per se. The API is good, and the plugin seems to be working. An interesting symptom, I don't know if it might help: Whereas TFAR is supposed to change your Teamspeak name to match your in-game name - this doesn't happen for me. It's almost as if ArmA 3/TFAR isn't "communicating" with Teamspeak... Please, can anyone help me?
  4. So, Windows 7. I have a Turtle Beach x12 plugged in. My sound options are "Speakers And Headphones" or "Communications Headphones." Currently, both are active. "Speakers And Headphones" are the default device, "Communications Headphones" are the default communications device. Disabling the "Speakers And Headphones" results in a total loss of sound. I can't change this no matter how I try. All sound comes through the speakers and not the headphones. I know this is not an Arma issue (it happens with all instances, YouTube, Music, etc.), but I didn't discover it until I tried to play Arma, and my internet search is ineffective. Please, is there anyone out there who can help me?
