for me its the same when running on my laptop , settings things to low especially terrain causes some things to glitch
-
okay but here it is , only prototype thought http://techcrunch.com/2012/01/31/self-guided-bullet-could-strike-laser-designated-targets-from-a-mile-away/

This : guided bullet sniper rifles http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn23571-selfaiming-rifle-turns-novices-into-expert-snipers.html now that is too easy , removing all the fun from sniping , but totally realistic . Bipods and Weapon resting should be top-priority , there is a mod for that , but this feature should come in vanilla

Well this should be definitely in-game at least for special forces , i saw pictures of vehicle with railguns .. now that is sci-fi ( railguns require an huge amount of energy ) Future Force warrior ( USA ) , GLADIUS ( Germany ) , Soldato Futuro ( Italy ) , Ratnik ( Russia ) ... those systems are current tech ( look for example Google Glasses ) and will only improve in the future ( probably contact lenses instead of head mounted display )

22 years is a lot of time ... especially in electronics , just think how were computers 22 years ago and what they can be 22 years from now even if they're 'greatly developed devices' thermal sensors and NVGs have improved a lot , in the future smaller devices will be more and more capable like current bigger ones ...its only a problem of miniaturization , probably a thermal optic will have the same specifics as a current vehicle one.

this please : peripheral night vision goggles http://www.elbitsystems-us.com/sites/default/files/imported/seo/esam0079_quadeye.jpg

Also do not forget that Iran now has a 'time machine' , that's why they're so advanced in-game , in the Armaverse this thing apparently seems to work going against physics . http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/iran/9985757/Iranian-scientist-claims-to-have-invented-time-machine.html

Higher velocity means only higher energy , how and how much this energy will be transferred to the target ? In some cases even a slower bullet could be deadlier than a faster one because it will transfer its entire energy while the faster one could go throught the body exchanging little energy.

you could assume that in 2030s Throat microphones and/or Subvocal recognition are more widespread , hand signals would cool anyway but like metalcraze said are difficult to implement.
-
Well, top-notch body armour can take multiple shots from 7.62×39 right now, now considering the game set is 2030s and the advancement of nanotechnology and science material , a conventional pistol or smg bullet will have an hard time to penetrate such thing , then add the adrenaline factor .
-
oddly tank-mounted railguns sounds more like 2142 than 2030 ... ( unless someone could come up with cold-fusion or Iron Man's Arc reactor ) Hard-kill, soft-kill countermeasures seems are confirmed Guided tanks shells also could be a nice addition But as someone has said before , the most of the vehicles is totally unknown ( Iranian jet for example )...so at least we need to wait for the beta .
-
it would be cool also if you can swap the barrel and the upper receiver , thus allowing to change ammo type and barrel lenght . By now your only option is to carry two rifles. Just take some inspiration from RPGs inventory systems ...

Any real solution for the visibility of units at higher distances possible?

this should be a priority together with weapon resting ... it totally ruins the gameplay -

its a difficult problem to resolve but check this it is a graphic engine which use fractal algorithms to render grass and objects at distance with low resources. If BIS engine or a mod could do something like that, this problem could be overcomed maybe. By now sinking with the grass layer technique and improved mid range textures , seems the best workaround . Also the blur the soldier thing is very interesting . -
this!... its like a sort of advanced javelin.
