  1. Hey guys, we are from EU/USA and me and my friends (10players) are recently getting interested by the idea of having a dedicated server.

    The problem is that we have no experience on dedicated servers, I just have myself some experience in mission making with mods for missions I personally host from my pc, non dedicated.

    So I think what would help in getting more people interested in your offer would be a short video or something like that where you explaing advantages of dedicated servers vs non dedicated ones and the level of expertise required to manage a dedicated server.

    I know many like us that don't own a dedicated server just because they have no idea about how it works and what it gives.

    cheers

    I'll attempt to create a video later on-

    But here is the known benefits:

    A guaranteed TWO dedicated cores (Never Shared) between servers.

    24/7 Uptime

    A lower power cost for you.

    Good for recruiting players

    (I'll add more as they pop up)

    Affiliate/Commissions released:

    Earn 10% Commission per server sold that you advertise,

    For example: You sold a 40$ server under your referral name you get $4.00 in your account

  2. oh, that's on par with other providers :(

    Your offer was interesting because we're small group of friends who play a3 (7 ppl) and i do not want to pay for slots we will never use. And a3 simply crashes on my linux server :( Looks like it's time to setup windows vm..

    Give our American server a try, we can provide 24 hour trials (no payment needed) so you can see how the delay is...problems you might run into etc, we only require 10$ usd for 20 slots in Pennsylvania

  3. I think i might have fixed it, i managed to run my Takistan test mission.

    I think my problem was first:

    And the keys, i didnt realise i didnt put one of my mod's key (RHS Escalation)

    By the way, do i need to install this mods on the server aswell or just the keys (JSRS, Blastcore, MCC, AGM and MapBuilder, map builder because i have some objects from it in my main mission)

    Thanks guys :D ill post later if i can get my Main mission working

    client side you can just add keys

  4. // MISSIONS CYCLE (see below)

    class Missions

    {

    class MPCoop1

    {

    template="MP_COOP_MarinaDefense.Stratis.pbo";

    difficulty="Regular";

    };

    };

    {

    class MPCoop2

    {

    template="BATTLEFIELD-INF-COOP.Stratis.pbo";

    difficulty="Regular";

    };

    };

    {

    class MPCoop3

    {

    template="co20_ofp-sky-hawx-day-1.stratis.pbo";

    difficulty="Regular";

    };

    };

    Think of it as names, You cant have 3 steam profiles created with the exact same login name.

  5. I'm been some searching and seen few people here have some problems with this, as I am too (Total Noob) Setting up a coop server.

    // MISSIONS CYCLE (see below)
    class Missions
    {
    class MPCoop
    {
    	template="MP_COOP_MarinaDefense.Stratis.pbo";
    	difficulty="Regular";
    };
    };
    {
    class MPCoop
    {
    	template="BATTLEFIELD-INF-COOP.Stratis.pbo";
    	difficulty="Regular";
    };
    };
    {
    class MPCoop
    {
    	template="co20_ofp-sky-hawx-day-1.stratis.pbo";
    	difficulty="Regular";
    };
    };

    Here's what I'm lost, I started the server but server isn't showing up. I know for sure I did something wrong

    class names cant be samw

  6. "I must reiterate that we have never received a ToS nor have we ever agreed to one."

    You arent legally obliged to agree to one... there is a way around making you click that little agree button

    "Account Activation

    By activating your account with us , you agree to the above policies and disclaimer. Upon requesting activation of an account, you are required to accept these policies, guidelines and disclaimer, and a copy of your acceptance is forwarded along with your activation request to be maintained with your account information."

    But that still does mean we will forward you an acceptance/ToS over email.. So I guess they still have to send one

  7. What are the specs of the machines you are using to host if you don't mind? The group I play with is looking to rent a server. We are currently running a dedicated server from a spare computer with 75 Mods @about 24gb. Only need about 10-12 slots but are willing to pay for whatever the lowest is. (Seems like there is a 20 slot option on your website) I did notice the no guarantee on the missions working and was wondering if you could give me more detail on what you mean, whether it be the mission files themselves not handling players or something on your end.

    Thanks for doing this by the way, and best of luck to the business!.

    Thanks,

    Dual x5650 processors overclocked to 3.2 ghz,

    48 gbs of ram clocked at 1600 mhz and 9.0 cl

    As for missions:

    Missions can be poorly scripted or overly scripted to cause poor fps issues on the users end- so let's say you are in zeus and decide let's spawn 58 vehicles here and 48 battalions here, well let's be honest here, thats going to cause quite some fps drops for everyone

  8. What are the hardware specs? Please provide more detailed information about what CPU, RAM (mhz, CL ?), SSD, HDD, bandwidth, server location

    Dual x5650 processors overclocked to 3.2 ghz,

    48 gbs of ram clocked at 1600 mhz and 9.0 cl

    Dual tb hdd in raid

    Another server uses a 512 gb ssd (we mix it up)

    We do not limit bandwidth, but each of our servers has a 30 tb limit which we will pay overage fees if it should occur. (No extra cost to you)

  9. “A MASS CONJOINMENT OF RECRUITING OFFICERSâ€

    Dear Recruiters, And/Or People looking to join a unit, the idea behind this post is to try to get another way of recruiting people to join your unit as an All In One recruitment place (Talk to a bunch of recruiters at once)

    The idea behind this is where group/unit sponsors could show up, create a channel with the description of there unit sit in the channel, and if the description interests them the user who joins could go in and ask questions about there unit if any pop up and possibly join the unit.

    Lets be honest here, not every unit has the best writing skills but they could be a great unit to join (friendly and everything nice)

    Example: "I used to be in a clan where the guy in charge was nice and personable, but had the writing skills of someone in Grade 5."

    If your interested in giving it a try whether your a recruiter, or a person looking for a unit join the TeamSpeak: 198.27.90.150:10005
