    Why this game sucks...

    well there are servers out there that fulfill exactly what the OP is asking for... try our 3CB ALiVE one. (filter 3cb) It's easy to join via Six or from the links on the website - shameless plug but we have 80% public players whom are playing tactically. Especially if 3cb members are on and leading..     Loving the mod, but why the picture screen that takes over the main page... ? I run lots of mods and it's slightly frustrating when one mod seems fit to impose those screens (great PHOTO by the way!) - just wish it was on rotation as part of the intro instead, can I disable ? SJ

    Big Pickle - Reall good job with this latest version.. I love the cracking and pinging from live rounds, Love the internal sound of firing, very realistic sounding ! Not so hot on the random wolf whistle from no-where - but I can live with that... I too noticed that combat around 150 - 200 metres away seems attenuated slightly, still good, but made me turn my volume up, (then needed tuning back down when i started to shoot) Anyway loving the development.     If I recall rightly the original author of Clafgan lost all the files in an HDD crash.. I don't believe it's possible to make any changes to it any more... Sadly. SJ

    Great mod - perhaps ask Kiory if you could include his L85A2 Mags and grant compatibility vis versa with RH and Massi's Stanags etc. Don't forget the french R3F Famas packs too :) SJ

    I thought as much... My systems old, but Beefy. 4Ghz I7920 12G Ram with SLI 570GTX so eats most Arma 3 issues with ease. This is definitely a "script - backlog" issue i think with whatever the Explosion effect that the A10 is using for the GAU-8 Being a particularly heavy one for Blastcore to replicate. I guess a config could be produced to play every 10'th round impact or something similar ? what do you think ? My instinct is that getting OS to change blastcore will be harder than getting Peral to tweak the A-10 (reason being OS is not really modding at the moment - I understand he's burnt out and frustrated by the process needed with Particle effects)

    I get MASSIVE FPS drop when the GAU lets rip. I'm running JSRS and Blastcore, so i assume that's causing the issue, can anyone else replicate? Would be a shame to lose either them or the mod.... SJ

Three "Porta-Potties" as my antipodean comrade informed me, and about 100 Dead bodies ! On closer inspection - and after some explosives to makesure they were dead... We're running Xmed sys with the annoying Insta-death routine, but those bodies stay at base until the server garbage routine gets rid of them. Anyone else seen anything like this ? SJ

    Eric, sorry for this, I know how hard you've been working to get it right. I'm sorry to say even with RC21 it's not working - a couple of us have tried it this morning with fingers crossed and no go. If we all run the pack, then all the guns work ok. But if one of us doesn't have the u100 mod running i.e. a normal public player, then we cannot hear their non vanilla packs. I will ask GDSN to take another look at it as I'm really keen to get your L115A3 into the missions. Thanks for the efforts to get it right SJ

ARJay - I'd thought about adding flying jets... stupid question but if they are loitering until tasked by TACOM - how do they keep their fuel status in the green, This would go for choppers too I guess.     A2 water layers don't play nicely with A3 - so you either get "evil tar pools of forgetful darkness" i.e. on Takistan, (don't stare at them - they'll see you looking !!!) OR you get horrible black artifacts all over the screen when you turn your viewpoint around. Until someone figures how to fix it - we're stuck with no water... SJ
  24. Not sure why you would want to show people where they were lol, but yep, easiest way is to set debug on. However you could also have it that the IED marker zones are visible instead, i.e. your players see the "zones" of IED probability rather than the individual bombs. I think we managed to break the Script at one point that hid them, I'll see if I can remember how I did it (doh!) unless Brians can tell us ? SJ
