  1. So I see that the full sandbox release is going to be on dev branch "Tomorrow at midnight" but what exactly does that mean??? It's 11:00pm here now, should I be eagerly awaiting the full game in an hour or should I go play more Arma? I'm in PST time zone.

  3. So after a trigger is activated I want a "site" module to spawn in. Specifically a observation post or base. I want to be able to spawn both blufor and opfor sites.
  4. Just as the title says... How can it be done. I'm fairly new to editing in Arma and just started getting my feet wet in scripting. I want to have a trigger activate and when it does, have a group of guys + vehicles spawn. The other thing is, I want to have them move around to a specific location. I'd really like to be able to use the "move" function on this group of spawned AI. But I don't know how to do that if they're not initially on the map. Again, just getting my feet wet in scripting so please dumb down any scripting that would need to be done! :p Thanks!

    yeah just wondering exactly HOW to get the module to populate the kamino base after the triggered has been activated. And like I said, just straight syncing then hasn't worked out for me... =( And if you play the mission, the effect is towards the end when it jumps ahead to night. Thanks!

    trust me man...I've tried and that does not work. I even set up just a trigger and a sites module on a different scenario to see if it would do it, and it will not.
  7. So I'm making kind of a D-Day mission at the Kamino beach and I am trying to get the Kamino base to be populated with Bluefor AFTER the beach has been "taken." Is this at all possible? Also is there any way to get the "time advance" animation that played in the "defend Kamino" mission? I want to give the impression that the base was set up over a period of time. But, I would also like to teleport all of the units into the base after the beach has been taken. Thanks

    Color Issues

    Playing a multiplayer mission and I noticed that the uniforms were black instead of normal MTP. Thought maybe it was a new thing. Changed into a ghillie suit and it was also black. I noticed that things around Stratis were also only coming up as black. All the shading is there though. Just no colors. All the correct textures are there but they are not being colored correctly. I noticed that when I walked up to a vehicle it would change from it's normal color to black when I got close. Anybody know what is happening here? Thanks

    Low CPU utilization & Low FPS

    I realize the game is in alpha and that it's buggy/laggy still. I also am aware that it IS on a physx engine and will dump all the physics on the processor if you have an AMD PC. Nonetheless, I'm running the game at all standard, 1920x1080x32. Most of the extra "make things look pretty" stuff is disabled. Are there any ways to better improve my performance? The first day I played I was getting around 20fps, but today when I was playing a night game I was only getting around 7. Phenom II 965 ~ 3.4ghz 16gb 1600mhz RAM MSI HD6970 2gb ddr5 ASUS Crosshair V Formula 990fx
