  1. At 1:08:00 in the stream the Zeus Creator has a discussion about MCC! Much props to shay_g_man!!! I think this next update will blow their minds ;)

    I have always really enjoyed using MCC to add infinite replayablity to user made missions that I have went through a million times, not to mention private coop mission that me and my community members play together. V.A.S. was a huge draw and an exciting feature for MCC to have integrated into it and I know many people will be sad to see it go. Seems the scope is starting to make a turn directed more exclusively towards MP server owners/administrators. Will there be a link for the masses to download older versions?

  2. love this much needed addon Aplion!!! Thank You for this and ALL of your H.A.F.M. addons! Each one is a staple in any mission building or scenario playing I participate in or design. Just one issue left that I see stands out and that is*The UH-1Y Venom aircraft has a very ''unrealistic'' feel to the controls. I did a barrel roll at 80m alt. and then took me an uncomfortable amount of time to slow down from 250kmh with the nose pitched straight up. Just wanted to mention it. You did an awesome job with this and also would like to send out extra thanks for the collaborative project between you and the @RealSound team! The F-4 Phantom is really nice. Think there could be an F-15 or F-22 in your creative future? ;)

I see alot of discussions from community guys going on lately in regards to the tactical glasses functionality concept and whether or not it would be reputable to have an enemy indicator (like the red targeting box) appear on them. I say go for it! surely there would be a way for me to disable it on my server but run it wide open during sp and coop scenarios via userconfig? anyhow,,, recently remember seeing another open sourced addon that implements the basic idea of this one. The author was advocating community members to build on it. Maybe you could check it out and see if it could be combined with this concept.

    Great contributions thus far man! the 'X-mods' multiply the fun factor of my co-op gameplay sessions exponentially!!! Thank You for all of your selfless contributions and continued updates to perfect them! :dance1:

I am no addon artist but in the future any and all of my digital storage bins are open to you and your team. I know this has to be a very disheartening experience for you but don't let it get you down fly boy. :)

  6. So this will add a 'change uniform' option to the action menu that allows you to alternate between the different unit classname that you define in the script?

    Would there be a way to get the script to call kind of like V.A.S. does or the MCC box generator, where it somehow segregates everything into its respective categorys, so that one could have it load all included uniforms that are in the mission?


  7. Hey guys! I have went out and bought Autodesk's 2014 3dsMax this past weekend and it was alot of money to spend to not have any training or education in 3d modeling. But,,, no matter; I am an Arma addict and WILL learn. I am hungry to give back to the community that has given me a home and been the most outstanding gaming community I have ever seen anywhere! I read several posts yesterday with some ppl ranting on and on about how content creators have ''fallen off'' over he progression of the series and the modding community is nowhere near what it ''used to be''. I wasn't around for ''what used to be'' but i call BS! There is alot of multi-talented modelers/scripters/texturers/terrain creators/mission/utility & tool makers that are active presently and the number grows daily. From what I have read on advice from exp. guys My first step should be to 'brain storm' so in this first post I suppose my question to any experienced Arma Artists is: ~What would be the wisest model a beginner should begin with?

    I am running through a Autodesk video series on one monitor with my manual opened on the other to cram as much knowledge as i can about the interface as possible right now. I am so anxious to just dive right in and start meshing and scaling new aircraft and buildings!!!!

    --If it were only that easy eh?-- but m fighting that childish urge and understand that alot of you guys pour hours <weeks<months & alot of times Years into this quality material and i know it doesn't happen with magic. Hard work and dedication flow through each of your veins. I am not wanting this for 'fame' or 'recognition' but to give back to the community that has given me soo much and gotten me through a very tough year, and to ''earn my stripes'' to walk amongst the Greats that have adorned this game with the TRUE content that makes it [arguably] the greatest PC gaming Series of all time & maybe,hopefully even one day colaborate with some of you and make something truly epic. I will not spam you with PM's, 'nagging' for help... rather I will post all my questions and idea discussions within this one thread.

    To those who have read this far (lulz) I thank you for your patience. I didn't want to post some little bitty thread on this. I hope this may serve as a hub for other beginning artists that are dedicated to learning the art of Arma 3d moddeling to come and gather information and inspiration. Any and all Positive feedback and resources will be greatly appreciated!

  9. 1. are these problems isolated to Multiplayer only or shared by single player use also???

    2. From what i've seen from exploring the interiors of 'MCC' & extensive use of the module; VAS is simply applied to the chosen editor item in the same manner you would add it to an editor items 'init' line yourself. I will try using the 'Box_Generator' function to check if all weapon/uniform/items are correctly being called. Will report back with my findings. Thank you for all of the qualty gaming shay_g_man.


  10. Hey guys (gals?) I just downloaded the newest BI tools by way of Steam and I followed this THIS. . tutorial (with 4 re-do's and was still receiving "External Viewer: Unable to Create Viewer" error generated by O2. I've found & watched several videos on YouTube but the ones that are outdated didn't include Steam and the ones that (I presume) were using steam, began with both programs already running. ...........................................

    Ok, this is weird..... Before i proceeded with submitting this post i decided to make SURE I exhausted every other resource at my disposal and i'll be damned! I was in the process of pulling all the windows up to snap a screenshot of my directories and file paths and when i clicked buldoer one last time to allow me to get the error msg in the pic,,,IT SAID "Loading Viewer"!!!!! Me and my 10yr old son were O.0! I think it was just the magical energies that BISTUDIO shines on me. lulz,,, but i digress; Now as it loads buldozer 'right when the loading bar is roughly at 90% I am now getting a windows error telling me ''Arma3 has quit working and needs to close''.

    *shakes my head* I sat down this morning determined to work my a$$ off, just didnt know it would be this early on in the process. Is it a necessity to restart the computer after installing the tools suite? I read that somewhere but it was for ''OFP''


  11. 1. Because the majority of them don't have proper knowledge about what Arma is capable of.

    2. There is not enough 'gumption' of players to form their own proper units/clans that share similiar timezones/playstyle (I myself am guilty of not stepping up more here)

    3. Just like DayZ is a genre that is one and of it's own, IMHO Arma is as well. I don't know of any other simulation out there that can even legit be called a "Military Simulation" & for some reason most of the gamers I have had the pleasure of talking with during my 2400+ something hours in Arma 2 & Arma 3 over the past year, have a tendency to try to put new ideas in 'pre-existing categories' they already have laid out, and because of this they play DayZ like they would 'Grand Theft Auto' or 'Call Of Duty' and when they think ''Arma they relate it to DayZ

    I would also like to end this reply with a question... Since when did the "Life" mods become a free-for-all slaughter house??? I put hundreds of hours into the Arma 2 'Life Mods' & the rules were very explicit and very enforced.
