What REALLY helped me to improve performance

Some engines work better on older systems, they become unstable on the newer operating systems and/or equipement. Not sure about Amra 2 or 3 because i haven't touched a computer with XP on it for many years now.
  2. Your CPU and HHD are the things that let you down, 5400 Segate is going to be super slow and if you upgraded the CPU and left the HHD for a week or two you would still notice poor game performance. Not sure of the prices, but i do know laptop stuff costs more than desktop parts.
  3. Couldn't you talk with the guy's who made the wasteland mod and see if you could work together and combine both wateland and DZS into a single mod? reduce the amount of money found on bodies, increase the price of weapons and ammo etc, making it harder but more fun. If you don't want vehicles to play a big role, you could alwa's remove or reduce the amount of vehicles. Just a thourght, i think both mods combined would make for an awesome mod and drastically improve the gameplay side of things. The name for the new DZS could be simply Wateland DZS, this way those who want to play without the zombies can play the standard Wateland and no which is which from looking at the server name.
  4. I only found this option to opt into the development option last night, obviously i did so and as of yet i haven't had the time to play the game for more than 20 minutes because of my son been sick with chicken pox. Hopefully in a few day's he'll start to feel better and i will have a little more time on my hands on a night to play.

Low CPU utilization & Low FPS

I believe some settings can be toggled (not sure which ones) but changing them from say medium to high will move them from been processed by the CPU to the GPU. I could be wrong but it was in the offical video on youtube. TYhis could be something that will be in an update and isn't currently active in the alpha. Only time will tell, i hope though this is been looked into and can be improved so that we have all the information on what settings effect CPU and what effects the GPU and which settings to use to reduce the GPU usage and increase the CPU usage (if we wish to do that).
  6. I just posted about this in another topic about random crashes, anyway i have Windows 7 ultimate x64 and it also crashes, so its not limited to just Windows 8. My game freezes for what seems ike a life time, sometimes it unfreezes and i can continue and other times it crashes.
  7. I have also experienced the random crashing, however i was playing online yesterday (multiplayer) and while i was at the ammo crates looking through the gear the game froze and then crashes, i loaded back in and tried again and again the game froze. This happens every time i go to the crate and check the gear out. It could be a scripting issue for the multiplayer mission (not a default mission) Domination type game (can't remember the name, but i do record most games i play so i will record this when it happens again to show it in action). My ingame settings are mostly on standard with some settings diabled or set to low. And here is my system specs. OS: Windows 7 ultimate x64 CPU: FX 6100 (6 core) GPU: Nvidia 550Ti (1GB) Memory: 8GB's DDR3 HHD: 500GB Sata with 170GB's free space. According to the "Can you Run It Option" i should be able to run this game with medium to high settings, i haven't pushed the settings to find out because i want to pay the game with decent settings without pushing things and then finding out it wasn't a bug my settings been to high.
