Why does the FPS drop on the client if the server cant keep up, that just doesn't make any sense. Also on many mods more population means more action and fun.

Yeah but in Arma 2 dayz mod your FPS dropped with more players on the server, which doesnt make any sense. I believe thats the case for Arma 3 as well.

Didn't they solve that with DayZ standalone? Your FPS doesn't depend on server population there. Also if simulation thread is the only problem in Arma 3, how do you explain the FPS difference between objects detail on low and high. I believe that if they manage to increase the performance in editor it should increase in multiplayer as well, not the same as i singleplayer but difference between 25 and 35 fps is huge.

How do you explain the low fps in DayZ then. And only in cities just like in Arma 3. You point your camera at a wall and your CPU gets wrecked by every building in the city, even if you dont see them. From the DirectX12 presentation its obvious that it should help in games like DayZ. Mantle raised my FPS by a lot in Battlefield 4 where i was CPU bottlenecked, why wouldnt dx12 do the same in Arma 3?

This is too funny. Shady guys that make profit from Epoch mods are going against the people that created the mod. If Bohemia started to enforce their own EULA none of this would have happened. It looks to me like everyone is making profit except the content creators. Thank god for the make arma not war contest, at least Epoch guys have some inspiration to make the mod better.

There is a much easier way to deal with people breaking EULA, just block them with Battleye. Bohemia is hiring them, they can use them. They can use the same in DayZ when people abuse admin powers on public servers.

Even if you give Bohemia evidence they wont do anything about it, it was already said that there's a ton of servers breaking EULA and Bohemia isn't doing anything.

Did you notice the long lines of people for the interview Teamspeak? If you donate you get whitelisted in a couple of hours and if you dont, god knows when you will get in. The fact that they can slow this line as much as possible makes it pay to play. Previous system wasn't pay 2 play but it was breaching Bohemia EULA anyway, this system that they have right now is no different, its even worse.

How the f is charging for fast lanes not breaking Bohemia EULA? In theory they could process 1 application in 1 year so the only way to get on the server is to donate. The only thing they did after Bohemia contacted them was changing the "beta access donation" to "fast lane donation". What they are doing is just going around the system using loopholes. Bohemia whats the point of EULA if you can go around it like its nothing? Even if your application gets approved you still have to wait in Teamspeak to get your interview done, they can slow down interviews as much as they want so more people donate. Also what about the money they have already made while breaking EULA? This whole situation is Bohemias fault and they need to step up their game. You should use Battleye to block servers breaking EULA as fast as possible.

Why dont they just block all the servers breaking EULA with Battleye? That would be the easiest thing ever, if server owners want people to join they would need to disable Battleye.

Arma 3 Life never had donations, they were and still are charging access. The applications are currently closed and the only way to join the server is to pay 30$ for a "fast lane". As long as they are getting money they will slow down the free applications as much as they can. They are just going around the "system" thinking they are so smart.

"Open beta" which is even more closed and money hungry than the system you had before. Do you actually think that people and Bohemia are that stupid and can't see what you guys are doing over there at A3 Life?

Make good Arma 3 mod, give free access to streamers/youtubers, charge access to public, profit. Bohemia WTF. It costs me more to play a mod than the actual game. Just when i thought that Arma community couldn't get worse with hacks, scripts, antihacks scripts, hacks for antihacks and pay2win items this stuff happens with A3L. They are not even looking at public applications, they only let people in that donated. Maybe instead of this Make Ama not War contest you should just donate the money to A3 Life "devs" so we players can play for free.

What about the CPUs, i heard that it will take advantage over 8 core cpus?
