    There's another update to ArmA 3, but I don't know if it affects DZS in any way.. I shall playtest some. EDIT: Hmmm the player spawn seemed to work now, most everything else as well. Some regular framerate drops though. That feature has been in since the first game, Operation Flashpoint. You could order your men into specific windows, doorways, or in the middle of the room, etc. For some reason for me, the zombies don't walk through barricades on my ArmA 3, they go around solid obstacles. So the "better" pathfinding (that was seen in DayZ video) is already in. Maybe I just haven't found the specific building/obstacle that they can walk through.

    Craig. With the new ArmA 3 update, we may need a .08 I can't get the mission to work properly, it wouldn't choose me a "random" spawn.

    On the video I don't see much of a change to the pathfinding.. They're just tossing out theories. The zombies looked as stupid as before in the "fixed" pathfinding part.. Not looking very promising. Also there's no sign on the video that the zombies don't walk through doors/walls. No proof. Awh god I wish we got hunger/thirst back in soon on DZS. It'd deepen the gameplay quite a bit. I want to shoot those rabbits for meat!

    Good job. Hunger and Thirst next, bro (and please make those rabbits/snakes huntable) Also a working option to disable/enable hunger and thirst. Also, make it possible to completely disable weapon spawning (just a script to stop the DZS spawning, so people can add their own spawns) as someone said before. More options is better. Currently you can make weapon spawns very few and force them into pistols to get some effect.. yet it's still ridiculous to find a box with 7 pistols in it and 80 magazines.. Not good. Not realistic. :)

    Sounds to me what's most likely a "hacker" attack. Someone joined in with Dev Build, and started spawning 10000000 objects. It does exactly that, and at some point it just crashes everyone's client. It's happened a lot now. Kids getting ahold of the Dev Build. They attacked my server too. But yes with the native weapon/vehicle spawns of DZS they do cause a lot of framerate drops. Zombies don't really lag things up. I've noticed the same performance with 10 zombies per KM, and 100 zombies per KM. It's the vehicle/weapon spawns that screw things up. Probably vehicles more. And Dev Build users. Keep an eye out and ban those griefers.

    Is it possible you could add an option for NO WEAPONS spawning at all? A friend of mine is trying to get a feel of "Zombie Driver" in the mission and doesn't want people to start picking up guns.

    Okay and what about the randomly disappearing magazines in the inventory? And players sharing the same inventory? You put 1 magazine into your vest, it appears on another person as well. EDIT: Also I did not extensively test the new version, but in 0.35 choosing the zombie spawning method either broke the whole zombies or just did nothing. (everywhere, more in towns, everywhere, etc) EDIT: After extensive testing it seems the zombie spawns become less and less as the mission progresses, coming to a near halt after 1-2 hours of gameplay, even with the setting 100 zombies per KM.

    It's actually good that there's the zombie and wasteland servers, because all the kids will go there instead of coming to cause mayhem on the more serious missions. If there were no zombies/wasteland, it'd just be a lot of kids messing up your Mil Sim experience. Also, Craig passed the test. Good it's good to know he's still trying and other people do have personal lives as well. Waiting for an awesome DZS update that'll really finally fix the zombiespawns and guns/cars. :) Will be nice.

    Craig, could you work on the mission more, please? - Your weaponspawns.. they aren't really working properly (spawned empty containers alot and like every 10 meters). - Zombie spawning bug, it's still there(they stop spawning, until a certain person they are agroed to disconnects, then they despawn, and a few more zombies spawn. Weird bug!) So that wasn't fixed either. Make zombies despawn after their agro-target goes too far from them. Also, someone went with the name 'Craig' and set up an "Official DZS server".. But you play as 'bobtom', right? I tried to join his server, but his upload speed was TERRIBLE, takes 30 mins to download from him, so I canceled it mid-way. EDIT: if it's really you then you need a better internets too, bro xD Just wanted to connect there to YELL AT "YOU" to get off your lazy ass and make the mission working, as people made it working on their own already. You can do it too. I love you for creating this, but for some reason you're just making more bugs and far more less working things than all the randoms on the server list. I wish you good luck in making an update that restores some faith in you and humanity. Everyone will play on the mission that randoms fixed for you instead, until you set things right. Thanks and sorry for harsh words. Your mission is important to the ArmA community.

    Wait how could you be a civilian on DZS? I don't have that option. But yea sometimes you spawn on dry land in a swimming animation, but it goes over soon. I'm pretty sure it's more about ARMA3 than DZS, the bug. Also I've seen people running without guns, but I always get a gun. I'm the host usually though so maybe that's why. Can't say anything about the % of it occurring. I think you'll just have to wait for Bohemia to fix the swimmingbug. Weapons however will get a "fix" when weaponspawns start working. It'll be more exciting to start without a gun then too. ;P

    A child finds out about DayZ. A child "buys DayZ". A child hops onto forums trolling in a thread of a mission that literally created DayZ. Please leave the talking to actual veterans who played the game before DayZ. And hellz yea DZS! Finally the mother of all Zombie-related things in the world! EDIT: Now.. if you'd add civilian zombies (parameters button was a bit hidden to change settings :( )
