Doing that after the Alpha to Beta, Beta to final game would do nothing more than delete the full-released game. Steam shows only the full version of Arma 3. No idea if something went screwy when updating or just user-error on my part. I am still able to access the final version (through Arma 3 Alpha desktop icon) but I wanted to make sure there wasn't any lingering files that could give me trouble.

Has BI given any instructions for a totally clean install? I have done the usual uninstall under add/remove as well as documents; however, Arma 3 Alpha is still on my desktop as well as quite a bit of regedits and various other files. I have the Steam version of the game.

Fraps/Dxtory/Bandicam, etc...all have a free version that you can use to record. I think you can even record using Afterburner.
