[Solved] Exit code: 0xC0000005 - STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION

I am having the 0xc0000005-status_access_violation issue trying to run ARMA 3 on Windows, on my Steam Deck. Custom AMD APU (Zen 2) 16 Gb RAM (I set 4 to GPU and 12 to SO) I tried to run it on Windows 10 and 11, installed on a SD card, and Windows installed on internal SSD. It doesn't matter: The game crashes after the initial ARMA 3 logo and a couple of times was able to show the main menu, and crashed seconds after. I don't know if I am correct, but reading RPT, looks like it is a atidxx64.dll problem. I tried "sfc / scannow" command on CMD, without success. RPT: https://justpaste.it/8lpze P.s. The funny fact is that ARMA 3 plays flawlessly on SteamOS, but I need to make it run on Windows because my ARMA group use ACRE/TS for radio communication. P.s.2. I tried to choose system malloc, but the error persist. -
Dedmen, I tried this and didn´t work for me ... I am having the same ZEUS problem.

BullHorn, At current stage, the mods files stays only at your server or at your FTP. We think it is safer to maintain all clients and server at the same mods versions. The mods updates is almost automatic. After you update everything, the update/check mods button will flash green only when the server mod version change, and it will download only the necessary files. Any feedback will be welcome. Bleemus, The Fred´s malloc still works fine for me, at my main PC. I think it worth a try. Otherwise, at my laptop it is not working anymore. -

Fr33dom, I am afraid that the modded version of your mission is not working with the latest version of CSE/ALIVE. If you have a schedule to release a new version, please let us know. Thanks again for your great mission. -
M4RT14L made an excellent mission. No doubt about it. We have no right to demand nothing. But, all I want is to thank him and give my feedback, respectfully saying that, in my opinion, NATO SF and Russian Spetsnaz Weapons would be a better choice for weapons.

I agree with MasterAntony about NATO SF and Russian Spetsnaz Weapons. But about radios, my community uses Task Force Radio because it is far more reliable and, nowadays, far more polished than ACRE 2.

Fr33dom, First of all, congratulations for your excelent mission! Buddy, I tried to start your mission downloaded from Armaholic (version 0.91.5 Alpha) with CSE and all the others opitional mods, but the CSE didn´t work. Then I download the mission "WIP Version 0.91a ALPHA (Modded W/O HC Requirement)" at the first page of this topic. With this version CSE work OK. Is that correct? Or am I doing something wrong with Armaholic latest version? -

What me and my clan do when this happen is to fly a heli over the AO (city) at low speed. Most of the times some enemy open fire to the heli and we discover where he/they are.

LoneCrow, I have also 3 monitors and 2 video cards. But all 3 monitors are conected at same video card, and all 3 works together as one big desktop. My video cards are 2 AMD HD 7950 so I am using eyefinity tecnology. I have no issue playing ARMA 3 or when I quit or alt tab.

I agree with Dissaifer. I think ARMA 3 already are and will be even more a huge step forward. The game can fit those who wants a casual and easier gameplay with vanila game, or those milsim ARMA2-ACE-ACRE fans with realistic mods (acre-TMR-JSRS, etc ... more will come) and improved engine (graphics, animations, physics).

I really expect that BIS provides cooperation and fixes the issues to this project. This already bring Arma 3 to a new level. Speaking at player side, I like the way that AiA works today, as a "mod" and needing A2/OA to play properly. I think working that way is fair with BIS because people have to pay the original containt of A2/OA to play with it. Not all servers will use AiA, but if the player wants to play at an AiA server, need to have the mod and the A2/OA full game. I think it can work similar to ACE with ARMA2. My only concern with this proposal is how the mod author (.kju) will have his deserved share. I expect I made myself clear, english is not my primary language. -
How to Respawn an unit inside a new vehicle (heli)

First of all, I play Arma since Operation Flashpoint, but I am a newbie making missions and it will be my first one. So I have little to nothing knowledge of scripting. What I am trying to do is a simple free for all helicopter death match mission. So I placed 10 playable AH-9 Pawnee near the airport, at 100 m altitude. I managed to set a respawn script: respawn = "instant"; respawndelay = "5" at description.ext. But this make only the soldier player respawn at the place of death. I would like to make the player respawn, inside the same helicopter (a new one), at 100m altitute, at the place he spawned at the beggining of the match or respawn at the place of death, inside the helicopter, at 100 m altitude. Can anyone help me? -

I was wondering if anyone made a comparison with windows 7 and windows 8 running ARMA 3. Is there a possibility that the modern SO results on gaining a few FPS?
