Thanks for the reference, I will start reading tomorrow and hopefully start to get some missions made that aren't bad.

Well I have been wanting to make missions in ArmA for a while now but I just couldn't quite understand it. I get the basics (I watched some tutorials) of how to place units, group them, and then sort of make objectives (Simple ones at least). Is anyone willing to take time and help me learn the editor more or would it be a waste of time. I have a lot of good ideas that I wish I could make and turn in to awesome missions for people to play. Also the scripting is something that is almost necessary for good missions so if I could be at least taught the basics on how to do it correctly, that would be amazing. Hopefully this was the right place to post this and I am hoping to learn the editor better with the help of someone! Tutorials just don't do it for me, they just are all text instead of voice and just confusing to someone that still needs to learn most of the editor. Thanks, Mike.

Well most servers that I have played on the ENTIRE server turned into birds and in other cases things were blowing up magically and the whole server lost its gear after the explosions occurred. Seems a bit too fishy to just be a bug in my opinion. Although the bird thing could be a bug. I do know that on most mission when you die you just spectate as a bird. I don't even know why you felt compelled to type that. Are you just trying to be a troll or are you completely serious?

Yea I really have no idea. It wasn't even this bad in ArmA II. All of a sudden its just teamkilling and hackers EVERYWHERE! Plus none of my friends want to play this game so I have been messing with other games for a little while. Although I did join a co-op server and a hacker just blew everything up and got rid of all of our gear. Why? I couldn't tell you.

Is JET a their new Anti-Cheat software? And thanks for CLARIFYING that it was in alpha....I was COMPLETELY unaware.

Well the title basically says it all. I really hope that they can do something about this because I haven't been able to play a single game all day because of the hacking rampage that has taken over the game. I am in no way mad about this and there is no need to tell me 'it's in Alpha' because I know. I just would like to make this post for more people to see since not everyone knows. You would be better off playing on a password protected server with a couple friends at this time until they can sort this out. This is the only positive way that you can avoid hackers from ruining your ArmA III experience. The game is great but for some reason people love ruining great things. Hope to see a fix soon, Mike.

So I have been playing for a while now and I have had crash after crash. Its starting to get on my nerves now. I join games and then the game freezes and I go to press escape and it just closes out of the game. I would love to play multiplayer but its becoming unplayable for me. Still a great game so far, they just need to work on the multiplayer and it will be great! So with this being said... Is there any way to suppress or stop the crashes from happening so frequently?

Thanks, that's what I have been trying to do but when I do they end up crashing or not coming back up. Oh well I can deal for now.

Hey everyone, I have just been trying to join servers today and I know they are still working on the servers so that they work better but, is there a good way to search for good servers that work better than others? I would like to play and enjoy this game with other people but I can't seem to find any decent servers. P.S. Basically every time I join a Deathmatch server, it lags like crazy because people drop their gear all over the ground and then the server gets lagged by this since they do it over and over again.

Yea it was happening when I was controlling the team leader too....Apparently he just feels like making sure EVERYONE is dead even if you don't care.

I don't know about anyone else but, when I was playing with my friend, the AI squad leader (and player controlled SL) did not shut up. "2, report position." "2, where are you?" It got so frustrating that I had to turn the radio off. Yes I know it is in Alpha and this is more constructive than anything. I just wanted to point it out so it can be fixed. So far the game is fantastic and no other complaints, other than I suck and can't finish any missions XD
