Vehicle Turbo Script Special Thanks to Zooloo75/Stealthstick for allowing me to create this standalone version of a vehicle turbo script from his discontinued Stratis-RP mission! Features: - Increased acceleration. - Increased top speed. - Realistic loss of control due to higher speeds. - You can actually flip at high speeds. Depends on the vehicles centre of mass. Installation Included in the download is a mission with the script setup to work in. Add this to your init.sqf. Or create a text file called init.sqf execvm "Turbo.sqf"; Copy the Turbo.sqf to your mission folder. How to use: Start driving and use the left shift key. Realistic Jumping/ Running Vault Script Special Thanks to Zooloo75/Stealthstick for allowing me to create this standalone version of a jump script from his discontinued Stratis-RP mission! Features: - Jumping Animation - Causes Fatigue - Jump height based on weight Installation Included in the download is a mission with the script setup to work in. Add this to your init.sqf. Or create a text file called init.sqf execvm "jump.sqf"; Copy the Jump.sqf to your mission folder. How to use: Start running and double tap the "C" Key to use. Version: 0.1 - release 0.2 - random movement when jumping should be fixed. 0.3 - Jump height is now based on weight. - Double tap the "C" key to use now. 0.4 -displaySetEventHandler was replaced with displayAddEventHandler, which will prevent the script from accidentally overwriting other event handlers. Looking at VBS2 for scripting commands for Arma 3

This is just a heads up for those who do not know that when creating Feedback Tracker tickets for new scripting commands, you can look at the VBS2 scripting wiki and then provide a link in the ticket to the wiki page with the VBS2 command you want in the game. This includes new VBS3 scripting commands. If this thread is in the wrong place, please move it to the correct location. As some of you may know, having player walk, drive, land and take off of moving ships (operated by AI or other players) at the moment have a few issues. The point of this thread is to locate of the issues so that they can be fixed. While this may not affect the vanilla game, modding will be greatly helped by this. Realistic Seat Belt Script Edit: The name may be a bit misleading, sorry about that. I has no idea what it call it. Special Thanks to Zooloo75/Stealthstick for allowing me to create this standalone version of a fly through the window script from his discontinued Stratis-RP mission! Features: - Because Arma soldiers do not use seat belts, you can get thrown through the windshield in serious crashes. - This can cause death very easily. But lower speeds offer a greater chance to survive being thrown through the wind shield. Installation Included in the download is a mission with the script setup to work in. Add this to your init.sqf. Or create a text file called init.sqf execvm "windShield.sqf"; Copy the windShield.sqf to your mission folder. How to use: Start driving and crash into something. Version: 0.1 - release Known Issues: - Not sure what vehicles it works on except that it works on the offroad and not armored vehicles. I doubt you can save the missions. This mode is not like the real time editor in VBS. It's closer to MCC sandbox and stuff of that nature only this is much make game-y than realistic. If it was a real time editor, it would be called a real time editor. It looks like it is a gameplay module like the sector control and defend modules. Nothing more.

Magic radar showing friendliest and enemies? Doesn't some HUD integrated form of Blueforce tracking do that already? Or something like that?

Yea, 64bit is not really the answer to performance problems. The developers have even stated this multiple times. ---------- Post added at 07:13 ---------- Previous post was at 07:11 ---------- Your forgetting how anti competitive that battlefield 4 uses mantle. They have a deal with AMD to only optimize the game for Nvidia cards once and constantly try to optimize the game for AMD cards. They may not be the best example due to giving all the support to AMD rather than both companies cards.

How would I find the memory points and proxy names for BI models, specifically at the moment for seats on the HEMTT. I would like to eventually have the names for all vehicle seats on every vehicle.

You should be able to adjust the key binds using the user config options. I originally had it has 2xV but that had issues with the player jumping from the prone position to standing jump instantly. When a fully geared goes to "jump" it is more of a running vault. When a person with no gear does it, they can actually jump. If anyone knows why this addon has problems with servers, please let me know as I am still new to this. ---------- Post added at 08:19 ---------- Previous post was at 08:17 ---------- No idea what is causing that. Features: - Running vault Animation - Causes Fatigue - Jump height based on weight Installation Copy the file called "vaultmod" from the "userconfig" file into the games user config file. Take the "@vaultMod" folder and put that in you \Documents\Arma 3 then enable it via the in game expansion settings. Yes but they have recently risen in popularity due to many Dayz streamers and youtubers who now are playing and steaming life missions in Arma 3. -
How does he have a problem? There are mods that do this and many games do this. He seems to describe unrealistically intense blood effects though. The problem is not that people don't want this as an option. This would cause issues with the current games rating though and regional restrictions.

People with a lot of influence like FrankieIn1080p, other people on YouTube and streamers have started playing these life game modes. That is why there is a sudden population increase for these servers. Just like when the Dayz mod was starting out. Only I doubt these life game modes will go as far as Dayz did. -

Dropbox will cut it off if to many downloads occur. I think it happened to other modders. But he could combat this by using Dropbox privately to allow someone like foxhound to create a mirror of it on armaholic.
