I am guessing, and this is solely a guess since its just a single day after Alpha release they are not working on a BAF, or rather any DLC quite yet... Simple reasons is they have effectively set street dates and will be working hard to meet that before worrying about having BAF for Arma 3.. in the mean time I am sure someone from this amazing community of Arma fans will port something over for the fans of BAF.

Who cares the end result is BIS gets more money from kiddies who buy Arma3 just for zombies.. doesn't take long for them to just stay in the zombie mode and leave our stuff alone..

OP I did the same as you... Jumped straight into a MP Server to didn't check the controls, go to open inventory, toss grenade at a group of friendlys... Does Face palm and leave with a few sorry's

I had exact same error you had, I just seriously had to let it do that 5-6 times then it just magically worked, I got the same error message as you with the exception of windows 7 said windows 8 for me, even though I have windows 7 so i have no clue to that one...

I had same issue, I just kept ending process via Task manager, after the 5th try of just pressing play, wait 30 seconds, black screen, flash back at desktop, end process.. rinse and repeat... After it launched booted right up, playing on High just fine, just had the little issues getting it to launch.

More F5 patience than I had, I just went with the deluxe off steam, It keep showing price as $72 for Supporter edition in my cart so I figured it was broken.

I am planning on purchasing Arma 3, I have been wondering about picking up a Flight stick, My question here is, Is it worth it getting the rudder pedals, not all seem to include it, I am a average pilot, my biggest fail as a pilot in Arma 2 is simply mouse is rather boring and not engaging, I understand BIS is using their flight model from TOH if I have read correctly, was it worth owning a flight stick for? Will the Alpha include setups to allow flight sticks? I have read up and down but havn't seen it mentioned, (I am new to PC gaming, I played Arma 2 while overseas back in 2010 and got into it then, but just been off and on as I mainly play xbox, I just upgraded computers for Arma 3 specifically so if thats an obvious answer, let the troll begin I guess... Lastly a few recommendations on what you guys/ gals have had good luck with for TOR, Arma 2 and think will be good for Arma 3, send them my way please!
