Most likely. And the starfighters like the TIE Fighter, XWing, etc are going to have VTOL plane flight models. -

I won't lie, its possible. However it has the same probablity of happening as it did with the Halo mod and things seemed to go by just fine. Many much more popular mods and other fan projects have done just fine using the Star Wars name. I don't think Disney or LucasArts would be threatened by us or these other mods but nothing is impossible. I'll put up a license section to try and avoid this situation. Pretty easily actually! The VTOL flight model is absolutely perfect for this. Before with the Pelican in the Halo mod, it was supposed to be able to land swiftly and thus it needed to use a helicopter flight model to be used appropiately (and actually the LAAT will probably also share a helicopter flight model for the same reason). But for other vehicles that just need to hover to shortly after, take off and engage their full forward flight mode, like the TIE series and other starfighters, the VTOL flight model is perfect. I'm interested to see how the AI will handle this but I doubt it will be a problem considering they won't be expected to perform crazy fast, helo-like, insertions in those vehicles. Yes, a lot of inspiration taken from these projects. It is really a shame how none of those projects really got the attention they deserved to be completed. I don't plan on quitting in the middle of this project. A good thing is also, that I know EXACTLY how to make walkers and other complicated Star Wars assets work and hopefully I'll be able to finish it soon and put up a video of the walkers to show everyone. Can you explain your problem again? You are saying you want an empty shell casing to eject from the interior of your tank model right? And I assume the shell is ejecting from the driver's side instead of the gunner's like you want? If this is the case, try adjusting the positions of the ejection memory LODs in O2. -
Backup iron sights are ALWAYS useful. But they don't have to be dedicated or physically modelled iron sights as nightovizard mentioned. What you can do instead, is have the "ironsights" be looking over the top of the weapon. It wouldn't be accurate but it isn't supposed to be! You are meant to use the scope view more often then not, but when things get a little to close for comfort having a back up sight will save your life.

You might actually be on to something here. Editing the dialogue sound files like this, would be tedious, but worth it in my opinion. Reverse the dialogue, speed it up very slight and lower the pitch. Or instead, you can make the pitch very low and slower instead. This way would match the way that Elites talked in English in the games:

Invisibility is something that has already been done. I don't have the video link on hand. Energy shields could easily be replicated by increased armor and the plasma "bullets" can be edited model tracers.

I would say that a VTOL flight model would be the best thing in this context. It didn't work for the Pelican because it was expected to perform quick and precise landings, but the Banshee is a CAS/fire support vehicle so moving fast is key.

Alright, but go ahead and remove your 405th MID mod. You no longer have permission to publish addons using the mod as a dependency. Should be no problem since you no longer want to be associated with the TEI mod. -

Nobody panic! Everything will be okay, believe me! Just give me a few days. No assets of yours will be used any longer. :) As much as it hurts the mod and the community, that is all of your decisions. THE MOD IS NOT DEAD, ANYONE.
