  1. Yes. The ammo counter is going to be an optics attachment for the MA5 and zooming in will show a scope reticule for long range engagements. Then the sights on top may be used for close quarters.

  5. What type of program are you referring to? The Falcon was meant to be a smaller type of Pelican, open sides type of VTOL aircraft. Like what we in the concept art. I prefer the Falcon's look better than these concept arts, but I like the multiple flight crew cockpit and no helicopter rotors, they were pretty different from what Halo established as VTOL.
  6. I see that you are German, so perhaps English isn't you first language, but you have to understand how disrespectful that question sounds. Not to just our modellers and textures but also to the examples you posted for a rating scale. Our RVmats are a work in progress, but our models and textures are solid. I'm not going to rate it like that because it is an opinion you should form on your own.
  7. We have screenshots of the magnum in game. And yeah the soundtrack is pretty good. On the first post, we have a list of mods we are hoping to make compatible with ours. ALiVE is one of them but not commanders tablet. As someone said, AGM has helmet cameras also. AGM is another mod we plan to include. On the first post, you can see that we have plans for two maps. One is a mostly empty (20x20km) area and another is a densely building populated city which is about 5x5km.
  8. Compatibility with Cosmos Engine is unsure at this point. But even if it were, an orbital tether will not work. It is simply too large for Arma to handle even as a static object.
  9. It could, however the Condor is capable of more things than the Pelican and it much more expensive. Thus, it would be more valuable to the Insurrectionists compared to a cheaper and more expendable Pelican like we plan on using.

  11. Yes, we will use a bullpup animation for the bullpup weapons. That is almost exactly what I said :P I watched Halo: Nightfall's first episode so I saw the Condor. Didn't know what it was called until you named it. The problem with the Condor is that it isn't the same role as the Pelican. The Condor is a long range transport capable of slipspace travel, while the Pelican is just a normal dropship. I think it does look pretty interesting though. Forge is hard for me to use. I have so many ideas I'd love to make. I'd like to play on your map though.
  12. Problem with the Albatross, is that no one really knows how it flies. The landing legs probably are VTOL engines similar to the Pelican. However, it is purely a logistics aircraft. So it would have very limited uses. Too few possibly to be work the effort of including it.

  14. You say that in a joking way, but it really is! :) Especially the remastered Halo 2 campaign will provide a lot of quality references for our future assets. Two that come to mind are the M247 machine gun and the architecture from Old and New Mombasa for our buildings.

    I think people are being a little too elitist or assertive here with saying what people should play. Let people play what they will. I do agree there should be better server filters to stop drowning out the other servers.

  21. Well, thats why. If we are going to implement something it should be at least moderately hard. Paratroopers will have their own unit in the UNSC Army class, but they do not get a class of their own like the ODSTS, Army, Marines. There isn't enough there to warrant it. With the SPARTANs, it would be purely cosmetics. Lol there is no way we are changing anything for any unit. All units will have similar stats for gameplay purposes. But even then, I don't see why they would even deserve new mocap'd animations. I agree with you, that is the ultimate reason we are debating including them or not.
  22. That is something we won't do. The ODSTs, UNSC Army/Marines and possibly SPARTANs later on will be the only units for the UNSC.
  23. We have the different weapons like the DMR for the Army and Battle rifle for the Marines. The M6J carbine may be added later on like the MA5K. As with the uniforms, we already have the different camo patterns. I'm not sure what you mean about the different vehicles though, can you elaborate? Other than the Falcon, I can't think of any differences.
