Hi all, I am an 18 year old college student working on my Singapore Armed Forces addon for Arma 3. I am currently working on this mod alone and have no experience in making addons in the previous ArmA series, however i'll be trying my best to learn and hopefully make this a successful mod ;) I have no knowledge in 3d modelling and pretty much every other thing mod related (scripting, configs, etc.) though I will apply what i'm going to learn in college in the near future into this mod! I have made some units and here's some screens of them! I plan to finish my units before moving on to my future plans for this mod. UNITS -Infantry -Commando -Guardsman -SOTF -Army Developmental Force Future plans: WEAPONS -Sar 21 (Singapore Assault Rifle 21st centuary) (I plan to make different variants of it) -Ultimax 100 -FN Mag -FN P90 -FN Five seven -M110 SASS -AX50 VEHICLES -Leopard 2SG -Bionix II -Terrex AV81 -Spyder LSV (more to be added once im done with these) I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out with 3d modelling and scripting for now especially weapon makers! Hey guys, was wondering what causes this when I import them into O2 via 3ds max. The model is exported as an obj. file from 3ds max. Thanks!

It works! Thanks everyone for your kind advice :) I haven't been keeping up with the newer dev tools that have been released by Bohemia. Was wondering how people have been managing to import fbx into O2. Silly me :rolleyes:

Where's the location of the BLUFOR buckle in the UV map???

Reduce fatigue by 15-20%, it's too much. Other than that, i've been countering the weapon sway by using vts_weaponresting.

But since i've figured out retexturing i thought i'd start on another addon for practice, hence here's my 75th Ranger Regiment units. Hi all, i'm currently working on my ASF pack :cool: It will be set from the 2015 era. The pack will include custom made content and retextures. I will be doing the Afghan Partner Unit first, then Afghan commandos. Some content will be fictional (Ospana Plate Carrier), and some won't (Mich 2001). What I plan to include: - Ghostex Kilo-1 (Done) - More variants of the OPC. - More variants of the Mich 2001 - Variants of the ACH-3 - Variants of the Mich 2000 - Variants of the Mich 2002 - M81 Woodland BDUs - Another fictional plate carrier (?) - Various desert themed spray painted M4s - Tac 300 Anyways, some pictures: Mich 2001 Ospana Plate Carrier (OPC) Ghostex Kilo-1 Retexture (Will change the patch) Tac 300 in game screenshot (WIP) Also, I really need help with weighting the plate carrier in game. It's warping like crazy :mad: *Sidenote* - I have not stopped work on my Singapore Armed Forces pack. I just made it exclusive to the ArmA group that I play with. - I have stopped work on my 75th Ranger Regiment pack as the guys at SOC are already working on their own version. ;) - I have taken some models from the A2 Samples so credits to BI for them.

Reference photos would be great! Can't find much about them online. ;)For everyone else, thanks for the suggestions and support so far. I will take them into consideration but I will mainly focus on Afghan SF for now. Progress will be slow, as school is reopening soon. But there will be semi frequent updates!

Thanks everyone for the support! Right now i'm stuck with weighting the OPC. Been trying to get it to work for the past few days but it isnt turning out good. Would be great if anyone who has prior experience with weightings in O2 could help me on this one :o PM me if you're interested in helping!

Hey guys, it's my first time making weapons for arma and i'm left with this small problem. The bullets are fuzzy under the translucent magazine. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have the bullets textured but it doesnt show. Its probably something to do with my alpha layer. Also, my weapon texture looks kind of flat in game. Will a rvmat help add depth to it? If so, how do I do it? ( I am completely new to modelling and modding in Arma so it's pretty hard to understand whats going on )

Hi, the SAR 21 RIS and magazine model was made by me. The grip was taken off the arma 2 sample models and the body was modelled by my fellow classmate.

Wow those units look great, i wouldn't mind including this in my pack do send the textures over!
