Just bought a new graphics card, problem solved, would still like to know why this could be happening so il leave it open.

This has sort of been a long term thing ever since i got Arma 2 combined ops. The problem is when playing, the game will sometimes freeze (including all movement of mouse and input) for about 5 seconds, then the pc screen goes black, like there is no graphics input. The system dosent restart or BOSD, it just sits there, eventually i have to use the button to restart. More recently I've had a slightly more detailed account of this freeze happening, The game freezes but game graphics go all glitchy, like odd colours and arithmetic looking glitched up graphics (most likely caused by something crashing), this even happens at the menu sometimes, this leads me to believe that its the game graphics. Its sort of a shame i cant provide a screenshot of this happening because it happens at completely random intervals as far as I know.
