  1. I switched back and we were able to play for hours in different servers with no issue. I guess it must be either client side, or server side issues with the dev build.
  2. Ever since I opted in, I have been getting disconnected from EVERY sever within 10 minutes of playing. The whole thing will give me the old redchain and "no message received" until the server crashes. Could this be the dev build server issue? Or perhaps I am just unlucky? Is anyone else having this issue?
  3. Okay, so I've been trying the aformentioned method, but every time I do, the heli takes off at the start of the mission and tries to extract right away, but sometimes it takes a good 30 minutes or so to get to the location that the exfil should be, but the chopper has already landed and flown to the end :/ Is there a way to initiate it via being in a certain radius of something?
  4. Thank you very much for the link. I will check it out. :)
  5. AWESOME! That seems to have worked. Is it possible to set it so that it auto-enables this when i get in range of something? Say a building so that it triggers the heli to fly in and get me?
  6. Well, maybe not have them fly in, but could there be an AI pilot that would fly to a pre-determined destination when you get in the chopper?
  7. So, currently I am working on a small, but difficult mission where you just navigate some intensely opfor populated streets and make your way to the air field. Currently, I just have a chopper waiting there for you to get in and fly away and the mission would "end" there. What I'd like, is to arrive at the set destination and have friendly AI swing in in a chopper, snag you and then fly away. Is this possible? I have a support module down that is linked to a chopper, but it does nothing currently. it's populated with 2 blufors, but when i am in the radius of the module, they do not do anything. Would it be feasable to have them swing in from an area somewhat far away and land, then you can get in? I apologize if this has been answered or is a stupid request. I am very new to the editor and just want to make a VERY difficult, but rewarding mission for my friends and I.
  8. My mistake, it may be CTRL+G then. It's one or the other, I know that for sure. I use it to cycle my chem lights when I play around int he editor
  9. Once you get the chemlight spawned in to your inventory, load in a game and press SHIFT+G and it will cycle your throwables (grenades, chemlights and smoke grenades)
  10. I am not sure! I have not tried any chests yet. Maybe someone else has?
  11. Hooray! That's the one. :) Worked for me and thank you so much!! Now, off to make this silly night ops mission. :edit: Holy crap the new lighting system is amazing. Setting it to a night with no moon (this next week) and adding chemlights made a MASSIVE difference. This is exactly what I wanted. Thank you all for the help :)
  12. I have not tried it with mag or weapon commands, so I'll try that here in a bit. Using it under "additem" definitely didn't work though.
  13. I tried renaming my char and setting it to that, but also did not work. I guess I'll wait until someone else has an idea or you get home from work haha.
  14. So I tried adding "this addItem "chemlight_blue";" to the players' init commands, but it didn't seem to work. Hmmm.
  15. So, I am extremely new to the editor (just started today) and I want to create a playable unit with chemlights (and maybe other grenades) in his inventory. I want to create a little mission where you can only see by chemlight (just sounds fun to me) but I cannot figure out how to add them to inventory, or a weapon box.
