everything is great, I call in the support the heli "floats" in air as I get in back...chose were I want to go, It takes me there...I get out and....Im fucking stuck. Always looks like my head it getting cut off by the blades. Anyone else have this problem or a fix? This happens no matter what I do. long travel distance, long travel distance. heli pad or not...doesn't matter always get stuck getting out.

umm....there is no official release of any arma3 missions. this it no matter what, I get stuck. theres nothing to upload....clearly no one else is having this problem....it doesnt matter what mission i make or anything a always get stuck getting out of the transport heli -

sry, Any Mh-9...idk by number...the real heli is called the little bird. I have that hooked up to the transport module with the support module, the way its supposed to work. Doesnt matter what mission I make. I have 2 scripts running (even though they should have nothing to do with the heli) I have virtual box and something else to choose team mates.....whenever I get into the heli, it flies to where i want to go and once I "get out" I get stuck in a place where it looks like my head is getting cut off by the blades. I use elite difficulty so I cant go 3rd person. -

Editor problems after the last update - "Groups" tab is bugged

Maybe this should be in editing idk....after I updated (because steam did it by its self) I cant see anything in the groups (group types) box, theres just a black box with no text. If I click ok it puts nothing on the map....is something messed up with the update. Yes I uninstalled and reinstalled like 3 times already...I was hoping that fixed my problem. -

OK I have this awesome mission idea. Basically long story short, theres going to be points on the map that are controled by bluefor and OPP with their own war going on and whatever. You play as a civ that finds a gun and takes it upon yourself to help either side or just do your own thing (kinda like fallout.....but witha rouge civ's). Now I remember seeing in a Gameplay thing for ARMA 3 that it matters what uniform your wearing because you can disgiese yourself to get into bases without blowing up the front door....BUT.....it doesnt work. as a civ you can dress up as either side and they wont attack you. they do nothing nor can you have a blufor unit dress like a opp because you cant equip their uniform......So 1 how do I get uniforms of both sides into a box 2 how do I get the issue of units seeing my cloths and attacking or not attacking? also....on a side note I would like to be able to talk to other Civs on the map and have them join me and be able to trade equipment and cloths <- but at this time this is not important just something im working on. Iam told I design worlds really well, but I suck when it comes to scripting and stuff. I must be doing something wrong because It still doesnt work....I can kill tons of oppfor and nothing happens soon as a kill Bluefor both sides try to kill me....I'll delete everything I have and restart all over again. Maybe something got messed up! BTW Tuliq you are the man! I see you have "hint" commands. I dont get those at all. any tips or stuff I might be messing up. Thanks again for your help. Muliplayer is the goal, so you and your friends and jump into the game split up/ stay together and fight for whatever side you want to and complete objectives. I would like for there to be a point where you can join a squad and "rank up" till you can lead your own squad....but that might be WAY to crazy because Ive never even seen or heard of anyone doing that or trying it. -

pasted "[player] join (createGroup east); vice versa [player] join (createGroup west); both of them shoot you player addrating -1000000; both of them be friendly player addrating 1000000; [player] join (createGroup civilian);" in there? I need to kill oppfor and bluefor like me then if (While still playing without editing it from the editor) i start killing bluefor the oppfor will like me again and bluefor will start to shoot at me.....it has to be dynamic. While playing...not from the editor. -

HAHA no i got that part.....I want to improve my relations...if I have alow score with one side, Is there a way to kill the other side so the orginal side stops shooting you? thats the question. I can get myself killed easily... ---------- Post added at 22:06 ---------- Previous post was at 21:58 ---------- maybe if I explain better, I want both sides to either hate or like me depending if i attack their side or not....and if I want to change sides after playing a while I want to be able to start killing the side i started with and "defect" to the other side. thats what I'm going for. getting the units to just kill you is the easy part. I want to make friends. I tried to set the setrating to 0 and see if i can switch sides but it doesnt make one side or the other like me or not. they dont respond to me killing them or helping them kill the other side. -

Please for the love of god can I get alittle "how to" cause I tried the "addRating" My script was "unit addrating 0" so you start with no rating. started up the editor and killed like 20 oppfor and each one watched me walk up to them and kill them execution style. I really have no idea how to script so just alittle help would be awesome on that end. ^how do I do that? It has to change dynamically depending on your "liked"-ness in the faction you will receive missions or be shot at. I guess I'll have roaming units of both sides you can kill to up your "liked"-ness on the opposite side. -

^ so your saying following those links, I'll be able to shoot say opp and the bluefor will like me and not shoot but if suddenly I start killing bluefor the OPP will start to like me again? I need it to change how diffrent people react to the missions they are given. -

can I have alittle more detail please? Like I said I can build believable sets and worlds...... scripting makes my head hurt... I used the setfriend but it makes both sides not attack each other....see im not good scripting -
Ok I got this mission, I want to be able to RESPAWN my GROUP with me as team leader (unit type doesnt matter right now) at base upon death. Also If there is a way for if say everyone dies in my group they "respawn" at base and wait till I die then I can control them again. if that cant happen thats fine Im really just after upon me dying I want to respawn myself and the group together. Ive done the simple script with "4" or "group" I know how to do that nor is it what Im looking for cause if everyone dies then I respawn as nothing. If its super complex thats fine, 10000000000000000000000000000000000 thanks for the person that can finally help me

OK....now things are set in motion, Starting to understand little by little. I think the main issue for me any is that the Main commander has to many units to deal with. How do i assign units to a specific leader? cause i tried to read the manual and from what I tried to get was any unit that you wish to have under the command of a leaded has to be marked by the HQA, HQB, HQC name in the units "name" however when I try to assign more then 1 group to a commander it says that the unit variable is already assigned. Sry man, your help is very very useful but the finer points i dont understand. I deff like however your "customer support" as most dev's are like "F you, figure it out yourself" Or someone could make a tutorial on youtube to explain this all, there is one but its short and not to discruptive http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwGSf-K7E3g -

Still Experiencing problems, units refuse to get into vehicles. I put "RydHQ_CargoFind = 200" into the init field of the vehicles and the units and they do 1 of 2 things, either they just stand there doing nothing OR they walk in line formation like normal. Also when things do work...my commander must be straight out of 3rd grade, sends units to patrol and "recon" parts of the map that are no where near the objectives. Things to know about my new mission : vanilla units USMC VS Russia, 10 units per side, Map is zargabad, 9 objectives per side across the whole map BLUFOR at the military base to the north, OPPFOR at the most southern edge of the map. Seems like the OPPFOR units move much more quickly and efficiently dominating the map in a few mins when the BLUEFOR commander is still gathering intel and getting his barrings.....is there something iam doing wrong here? running addon cause im not sure how to do the script. THANKS! -

I'm having a 2 major issues, 1 I'll being playing like normal nothing to over the top, 10 groups BLUEFOR 10 groups OPPFOR and ill get 3-4 orders in (10-15 mins in) and then....that's it. Done. I get no more orders, none of the units move, I can move, matter a fact I felt like super man cause I walked up to a BPM and chest bumped it. Joking aside its kinda not cool. I'm running the Addon on way, not script. Is there something I'm not doing? am i not being patient? Can anyone suggest something? 2 I read the whole manual in side and out, I want to know how to get the units to search for an empty vehicle and use it......please do not tell me to read all 134 pages to find my answers cause that's just being a D-bag. thanks. ---------- Post added at 02:53 ---------- Previous post was at 01:07 ---------- Sry for the double post but i cant delete or edit my post because iam a new user, but Iam using OA unit types. With out doing anything, like adding script or anything because im not sure how to because the youtube tutorial doesnt say how. Idk if that's relevant or not but i do get orders from commander. so things are working but idk about the other problems. once again sorry. This is a hell of a mod and def the thing that has me making new missions without so much time spent making them and now i dont know where everything thing is cause i made it haha
