This mod for me is MOTY for sure! Can't wait to try it out. You can go and discuss it here: russiadefenceforums. People there would be more than happy to have good discussion about tanks, be it from west or east - as you seem to be an expert, right? BTW Warsaw Pact soldiers used APCs at the time NATO soldiers were happy with trucks. Does it mean that NATO would lose eventual war? No. Both sides way back had magic red buttons turning cities into pile of radioactive ash. -

What about adding some slight sound reflection on the buildings? These things like mil vehicles are really loud and adding reflection of sound of some louder vehicles could gave interesting effect. For myself I can say that if something bigger run on the street i can hear it reflecting off my house or nearby walls. But it might not be worth it. Not sure about it's implementation and it might not be worth da FPS :cool: -

Awesome work OS! Explosions now look even deadlier! In fact it looks like meat grinder right now, in contrary to vanilla's fart clouds. If you could add two more texture tones like brighter/even white going outside closer to the ground (up to 15% particles) and more black/darker tone going from the center up (up to 30% particles) and rest stay brown it would look even sweeter! -

Back on topic this soundmod is promising. Distant shots are hard to recreate. Explosions sound nasty, never heard such good sounding explosions in ArmA series. Do you plan Sound occlusion from outside when inside the building? Like when there is windy and rainy outside and putting filter once in the building, AFAIK some modder already achieved that in A3 but not to the point of combining different filters ( outside filter, inside filter, room reverb etc.) Also, differentiating between urban area firefights and open field firefights, it should be done on the fly by the filters? -

So, at first it was everyone who buys Digital Deluxe Edition or Supporter Edition will get DLCs and Expansions for free. I get DDE because I wasn't interested in the badge or my name in the credits. Im just interested what was the cause on BIS side that they changed their mind and locked it just to Supporter Edition? -

One of the thing physics - wise i would like to see improved in the engine is physx integration within the natural environment like trees, bushes (yes, including that bamboo thing). In short: blew it, bend it, break it. Same to smaller objects like fences etc. Definitely secondary but would look good for sure. It doesn't need to be detailed like in the case of vehicle based soft-body physics. Physx calculations could be rendered only in certain radius to the player with some vital source information like wind direction etc. being already stored on server for less laggy experience. -

500% better hardware optimisation, 1000% better netcode optimisation, *new* sound engine, more content to play, PIP scopes, 3d editor, dynamic destruction of environment, and so on... CONFIRMED but seriously im looking forward to check if you guys at BiS didn't really been messing around wasting your time or did you really put on effort to make this series better helping it with realism and authenticity (a little trolling never hurts :icon_twisted:) Anyway looking forward to see if it brings some useful mechanics to the engine (hopefully)!

Let's say, I didn't logged in on my account for the last six months - happy? :) I guess you're right, should rather ignore that post. Now you didn't - but that's fine - no victims - none is dead at least :p Mod seems pretty dead. Too bad, never enought Chinese tech in ArmA. -

It happened to me quite often that one or two of the enemy AI in the group would get into the building and start spraying at me and my team from the balcony or behind the window. But im using bCombat so it might affect the AI that way as well.

If I remember correctly in OFP Resistance there was a mission in which you had to capture BMP-2 and drove it with your team inside the city to capture it. Enemy was neutral to that vehicle but im not sure if that been done with scripting or not.

+100. PR2 Devs are doing awesome job and have huge ambitions. Thats why they need every pair of hands. Especially talented hands :) It would be good idea for Optical to contact them with proposition. It is quite big project by modding community, respectable title too. -

Awesome! Do vehicles scatter into pieces like in vanilla or not? Would be awesome as that would mean it is not a issue in A3 engine.

Until bCombat AI would suppress me :) They are tough playaz right now :) Didn't played in months due to the AI but now I just wait for another game session :)
