I am annoyed that I have had such a problem with this game, and the company themselves are just leading me into a circle with information that I have tried about 8 times. I knew that I wouldn't get any help with Steam since last year I had a problem with Skyrim, and I was lead into a circle between Bethesda and Steam until I found out what was wrong myself and fixed it. I have reinstalled ArmA 2 CO about 8 times over the last week, and it has caused me a great headache but the developer themselves don't want to help. Instead, they give me information that hasn't worked for me and keeps going in a circle with it. At least I got a response from somebody that at least had something to say that could help. This worked, and I am able to connect to servers. Thank you very much Tonygrunt for your help, it was a big improvement from where I have gotten with Steam and Bohemia.

Over the last month I reinstalled ArmA2 to play DayZ again since the amount of hackers died down since last August. A week ago, I tried to get onto a server and the game is giving me this error, "Bad CD Key - Invalid CD Key" I have talked to Bohemia through support with my email, and they have already walked me through doing a clean install. Nothing has worked, so I was told to come onto the forums for possible help. Is there anything that anybody can do to help me out, or am I screwed? I have been reading about programs that claim to give you hacks, or improve performance but they just steal your CD key. I haven't used nor do I condone the use of any kind of external program such as that.
