I played Arma2 up to the Dogs of War in the original campaign before looking for AddOns. Have since made some very fun missions on my own. Of course, I thoroughly enjoy the Support Call you've made here too. On a lark, I tried using it when I started the DoW mission. I am able to do everything BUT call in air drops. I tried the conventional wisdom of finding open, flat and low lying land... to no avail. I don't hear a crash noise or explosion as suggested above. I went to the editor and tried calling support from the same location. Worked like a charm without hesitation. Can anyone offer ideas? Yes, I can go build an army in the mission. Not a problem, and I will play through legit for the challenge. But for giggles I thought it would be fun as heck to lead my mechanized troops from a Tusk.

I've been working through this o to find Budnik. I was lucky enough to see him almost immediately the first two times I played, but I killed him the first time and captured him the next time but without getting the beloved INTEL. Since then, I have been TRAPPED on this F-ing insane mission for the past few hours. I know this is pedantic, but I finally tried the UAV for the first time and am going insane trying to get it to work. All I have to kill is a Shilka and a T-72 out there, but it just won't do it. First, it kept crashing. I would set 1000ft and 300 speed, but it would dive bomb the target it has declared for me to target/kill and the impact trees all on its own. Ok... so repeated mashing of the 1000ft height will get it to barely avoid the trees. ------> but here is the problem: despite using default keys and then custom control settings, AT NO TIME can I get it to lock, go to next target, or in any way by manual input get it to be able to fire a guided missile. I have had the luck just twice of it auto-targeting the Shilka for me and I fired and killed it. At this point, maybe that is all I can hope for. But this is driving me nuts. Typically, using right mouse button will lock/designate, but here that just boots you out. I reset every targeting key in the game and they simply will not function with the UAV. I ran searches on Google and Youtube for UAV problems or UAV flying, but all I see are script notes for the map editor and things which do not apply. What's the deal?
