How would i find a multiplayer game by Zeus. I was looking in the server to join one as a player on the ground but couldn't find any. Maybe I'm missing something?

It seems i can't jump into a online game unless i remove my "Mods". I tried to join an online game mission that had the expansions for CBA and TFR which i also have activated, but when i try to join the mission it gives me this dialog box from the game and then i get kick off!?!?!? Now i know the modes work because i've used them. I have to completly remove all my "Mods" and then i can get on just fine. Does anyone know what the problem could be? It defeats the purpose to get mods if i can't use them in multi player. Thanks

That is my point i was saying. One mission supported CBA and TFR which i had but i still couldn't get on. They were the only mods active and i couldn't get on. I thought if i had the same mod as what the mission supported i would be able to join. For some reason i can't.

Hey fellas getting back into Arma and i had a question on the Task Force Radio mod. I just want to make sure i'm doing this right because for some reason last night i was having a hard time getting it to work. 1. When entering a multiplayer game with the mod activated do i need to be on the "Missions" TS channel to be able to in the game with the Task Force Radio? 2. Now its states on the Task Force Radio site, to talk in game you need to hit "push to talk" key when talking off radio. What key would that be? It can't be my "Cap Lock" key since that is for my radio. Would it be my new VON key? I'm a little confused. 3. When talking on the radio and i hit my "cap lock" key to talk, do i need to hold the "cap lock" key down to talk or do i need to press it once to talk and press it again to stop talking? Hey fellas, Where can i download Zeus? I was watching a youtube video and the guy said where to go to download Zeus but it was hard to make out what he was saying....something with branch i believe he was saying. Any help. I like to try this DLC out.

Ok, yeah i set up i believe the 2nd mod where i had CBA installed along with TFR. With that install i put the files in TS plugin folder. One last question on the TS item. 1. So when in the game i need to get the "Host" of the mission TS channel to load into my TS to be able to talk in game?

How to use or find your "Interaction Keys". I did a search here but it didn't say. I read somewhere else that the interaction key is: 1. ACE Interaction Key (default left-windows). 2. ACE Self Interaction Key (default right-windows). I'm not a computer guy so what is "default left and right window"? What keys are these on my laptop. Edit: yes i have ACE Mod as well. Thanks

I wanted to create a server due to that fact I'm having a hard time getting in any online games. I decided to create a team with my paintball buddies. I'm wondering what is the best server to get? I looking for very high performance with very little "Ping". I'm asking this question because I like a server that has very min lag. I notice a game being played by [TA] Wasteland Chernarus / Active Admin / Unique Donator. The mission was Wasteland - Edited by True American Gaming. They had 53/80 players playing with a "16" Ping. That is what I'm looking for. Very little lag. Thanks for the help. P.S. Hope this is the right section to post this.

I like to get a better understanding of how the folders work for Mods so here is my question: 1. When "Mod Folders" are placed in the Steam/steamapp/common/arma2OA/ its going to work for singleplayer mode? And when you place the "Mod Folders" in the document/arma2 folder its to work with multi-player? Is this correct? This question is about working Arma with teamspeak. 1. When playing online with a game that requires teamspeak, does my teamspeak application need to be open on my desktop? 2. Do I also need to hit the connection button on teamspeak as well? (btw, on a side note I tried to connect with a server off of teamspeak and it just gives me a blank page. I also put in a mission code from a game and got a failed messeage from teamspeak.) This question is regarding the 343 radio or any radio. All I had was the 343 so far. 1.How is it used? I know how to bring it up with Lctrl/Lshift/x. I know how to change the channels and vol, but how do you talk on it?

Is there another way to find online games to play in besides through the game? It is impossible to play in any online games. I get "Red" dots or "yellow" dots with a "?" in the center. Not one "Green" dot. I have: Arma 2 / Arma 2 OA / British Armed Forces / Private MilitaryCompany / ACE / ACRE / CBA / CBA_A2 / CBA_OA I'm looking for a Arma game, not DayZ. I want to play a true miltary sim game, but I just can't find any that i can get on, so is there another place to look for servers to get onto. When I bought this game, didn't know it would be a mission just to play online...lol Thanks

Thanks. Yeah, i'm new to this game, just picked it up last week and it has been a journey trying to learn as much as i can and practice it as well. I figure i'll pass along some info that helped me along the way. The gameplay was easy to pick up, its the behind the scene stuff that i'm working on. lol, my sticking point that I'm stuck at is getting in online games...lol

Hey Fellas, I know it sucks starting out with this game and you are completely lost...lol, but I'm going to attached youtube videos that has helped me get started and gain some knowledge. Everyone of those videos has help me with basic editing. How to install addons the correct way. And so on and so forth. Playing the game is the easy part to this all. What I would do would make up missions from the editor and practice from there. Best place to practice with. I would create missions of search and rescue where i have a small fireteam against a large AI army. It helps a lot. There are more videos I've seen that I will post later. I figure I give something back to the Arma Community for helping me out when I needed help. Now there is still so much to go, but its a start. Ok Can someone help me with this? I started over again. I erase all of the CBA and ACE files. I went to "Play with Six" had it set to multiplayer. I found a server that had a team I've watched on youtube. I downloaded all their files required which took about 1hour to 2 hours to complete download. I went back and watched this video and followed all the directions to the T. The one part that I ran into a problem was looking for the shortcut file called "Arma beta patch" that was supposed to be in the Arma2 OA file that will start the game will all the expansion enable. It was not in my file. So I started the game from steam. After starting the game I went into the expansion tab and saw all my files have been enabled, which was good. Now I went into multi-player and no luck could not join any games. Can someone show me or tell me what I'm doing wrong? Oh, here was the video i watched. On time 7:07 is the file I did not have.... Ok tried the filter and put in ACE and nothing. All games were in "Red Dots or "Yellow" dots with ? in center of dot. I went into my game under "Expansion" tab and here is what is shown, all enable. 1. Arma 2 (Steam) 2. Arma 2 OA (Steam) 3. Arma 2 British Armed Forces (Steam) 4. Arma 2 Private Military Company (Steam) 5. Arma 2 OA Beta (Steam) The rest i downloaded from "Play with Six" 6. @CBA 7. @CBA_OA 8. @CBA_A2 9. @ACE 10. Core-Advance Combat Environment 11. Community Base Addons (Operation Arrowhead) 12. Community Base Addons (Arma 2 Original) 13. Community Base Addons 14. Expansion All of these are in my "Expansion" tab in the game. So I started the game under ACE and went into the Multiplayer. I went to the filter and type in ACE to find a game. Nothing, not one green. I also tried keeping the filter blank next and nothing as well. Question, if I want to play a CBA file game online do I need to start the game under CBA? I have been doing this, but I just want to know. Note: Now when I downloaded the ACE and CBA files from "Play With Six" i downloaded it under "singleplayer". Do I need to also download the files under "Multiplayer" as well? What a pain in the ass this is..lol. I thought It would be a breeze to get this going, its like a science project. I got my files from "Six Updater" (Play with Six). Then that mean "six updater" is giving the wrong files. I'm looking at the files right now in my game. I bought from steam: Arma2 games I downloaded from Play with six: CBA and ACE

I'm putting this in the right section i hope. I just downloaded Yoma Launcher. I'm having a few issues with, one is I'm not sure if I downloaded all the files but here is where i went to download the app: https://dev-heaven.net/projects/yoma-addonsync2009/files Now the only file I downloaded was the one on top called: addonsync2009_beta 1.0.67.msi That is the only file I downloaded and install on my computer. Is this correct or should i have also downloaded the file underneath as well called?: z_addonsync2009_beta 1.0.67.7z The other issue is when I open up the launcher and i go to "Find Server" tab and hit search, it brings up all servers. Watching Yoma's youtube video it shows me how to find a server. I find one and double click on it. Here is where the problem begins. At the top right of the page it tells me "Server is unreachable" at the bottom right side it tells me in red, "hyperthreading active! Disable it for best Arma2 performance". When I go to hit the "Who's playing" tab nothing happens. In Yoma's video it would show you everyone in the game, but mine is a blank screen even thought there are 30 players playing in the game. I pick one that i have all the mods for as well. Can someone help me know what is going on. This is why I thought maybe i needed to download that other file. Added 4 minutes later: Another thing that happen was i made a favorite server I double click and went to the "download Addontab. I hit "checking for addons" and i get a message: "Download failed Unable to connect to the remote server , or i got "Download failed. The remote server returned an error (404) not found." Just wanted to add this issue as well.

Hey fellas been learning the game before trying out online, but i have some questions: 1. What is the best "head-set with Mic" to get to use for online play, or is there no need for one? 2. Are there teams to join if you like to? If so where can you find them? 3. Can one make a story in the editor and upload the game to play with my buddies? 4. Are the online games Human vs Human, or are the only Humans vs AI? (I'm hoping for Human vs Human in mass combat scale.) 5. Is installing Scenarios and Missions installed the same way like addons are??? Thanks for the help.
