  1. G'day all, The problem occurs as follows; I load into the game (be it a2 vanilla, a2 OA, or dayZ [sP or MP]) and just after the option screen comes up OR after a few minutes play the game will freeze for between 1-3 seconds, the screen goes black for 1 second then appears at the desk top screen. The interesting thing is, physically I am still in game, I can shoot and do everything as normal with the in game mouse skin appearing on the desktop screen. So in essence the game is still running. It's just on the desk top screen instead of the game screen. Occasionally the issue happens and then I get the "Arma2 has stopped working" box and it closes but this seems to be a 1 in 10. Immediate Fixes tried: Type shift (L) numpad - & FLUSH esc alt+ent x 2 This gives me between 5secs and 3 minutes of returned regular play before re-occurrence happens. But mostly the game will continue this crash until you have to control alt delete and hit task manager and close Arma manually. Major fix attempts: Minimize audio and video settings, nil fix Raise and lower virtual memory active in my SSD C Drive Uninstall every Arma game and file and reinstall everything to latest patches, nil fix Updated Nvidia graphics card & Realtek sound card to latest drivers, has made the issue less frequent but still occurs. Yet to find an actual answer for this problem. This is the only game that I have this issue with. System specs: Win7 Prof 64 bit DirectX11 6gb DDR3 RAM 500gb Free Memory Intel Core i7 CPU 930 @ 2.80GHz (8CPUs), ~2.8GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 460 (Latest Driver Installed) REALTEK Audio (latest driver)R2.70 Running retail DVD arma2 and Arma 2 OA (all patched). I have wiped all games and related files from my pc and reinstalled all relevant arma files tonight, the bug continues, but haven't had an "Arma 2 has stopped working" so the game hasn't actually crashed to create a report. When it does I will have access to reports from the .RPT files. Any help would be profoundly appreciated. Thanks.
