Hi, I've previously owned the box version of the game, so I know it can run on my computer. Recently I decided I'd like to play again so I went ahead and purchased it off Steam this time around. That's where the problems began. The game runs but the frame rates for the loading menu are awful, and the graphics in the background of the menu look absolutely horrible. Occasionally the text on the screen gets very blurry. When I try to actually play a mission, the graphics remain the same and so do the frame rates, also when I access the menu ALL of the words appear blurry. When I try to change any of the graphics settings the game minimizes and then I cant open it again, I have to actually end the process via ctrl alt del. Also there are various issues with the sound, like the menu noises wont play when you click a button, and the sound is choppy in game."freeze and crash to desktop and I'd be left with this error message: Display adapter does not support format D24S8 for X8R8G8B8 Can anybody give me an idea of what's going on? I've tried installing patches and updates as well as reinstalling to no avail. Also, I'm not sure if this would be an issue, but I'm currently living in Europe (from USA)... is it possible I may have purchased the wrong version? I'm not really sure how that works so forgive me if that's ridiculous. Thank you guys! However, as soon as I finished installing the game I knew something was off... for example on the start page/menu the text is heavily blurred, to the point where you can't read it.
