Stilll trying to figure out how to implement the sound through scripting... Last video was up through a trigger that i pasted.. id rather it be done all through scripting (script: placing trigger, so that no user has to do any extra work), waiting for someone to help me with that part, as in an earlier post, because i havent figure it out yet

the gun does need to be louder... wasnt because I dont want yall to hear the sound... its a WIP for the gun sound lol trying to get a realistic phalanx noise

thanks @rachio ! this is very interesting ill definetly take a look into this... we all want this realistic dont we? BTW, this Phalanx is capable if being AI manned or Player manned.... you can take out motor rounds too :P

Hey guys... I have a question for the community... did the new release of Zues come with cruisemissile strike? I don't have a good internet connection to update... but some friends have told me there has been and I have no idea if it works properly or is a true release ? If so can anyone point me in the direction of how the call the strike ?

Hey guys ... a beta release could be soon.... BUT first ... I am looking for someone that can make the phalanx sound for me (gun fire)... i been trying ovver and over again.. but I cannot get the right sound with the right ammount of time and everything... it doesnt sound properly when i implement it.... http://www.freesound.org/people/qubodup/sounds/163119/ example ^ but I cant figure out how to make this work in game properly... including config script... ALSO.... guess this is a little update as well... but I am looking for someone to make this sound for me ; ) its an alarm that the phalanx will activate when motors are inbound

I have a WIP for that patriot missile :P..... so i guess you et to know more info about oneo f my next items.... but it is low poly so we will see the progress of it but ya... the patriot will be Anti-air (heli/plane)

UPDATE: Finally fixed textures on the second CIWS phalanx system... just gotta figure out whats being broken in the code that makes the other phalanx not fire.... no idea why notl... uses the exact same coding

What specifically about the wheel are you having issues with ? -
Closed beta test is easy.. but i would like a more open beta testing.. i dont mind negative feed back.. but right now im not looking for people complaining about texture... but giving feed back on their side of whats happening when its in their game if it affects other addons... if it glitches on some parts... and if they know how to fix it when they see it in action... I already know i need to fix ones texture... so people that would be telling me that would be pointless for their help

Ya that was what i was thinking after I responded to the last person... Might release it... but dont be negative to my work... i have put over a year into this.... arma 2 made the model work into the game and such and started scripting... arma 3 perfected the script and everything and still WIP... so lots of hard work and hours have gone into this... possibly tomorrow night you will be seeing a Beta release on here... gotta remember how to sign the addon and everything... if anyone can send me a link on how to do so properly... because i do it wrong supposibly... Hope you guys are ready to test this : P its sexy in game... just wish i could max my game out to see the real quality of this... but yea... give me your input for this release on whether or not i should release... and help with how to sign it... : D wooo phalanx!!!! ALSO looking for a CSAT model for the c-ram... to make it somewaht even for both sides... so if you have any model that can be for csat that would be amazing!!!! and easy to implement

the thing is... i would like community input from my addon... see if there are errors in it... Also... making it fire at motors or not would be your choice... there are 3 addons ( 2 of which are 2 differnt phalanx's) and the 3rd is the phalanx anti-artillery tracking system

OK so... I have a question for the community.... It is mostly finished for a beta release..... My question... Would you rather have a phalanx that fires at Air and at motor with no textures..... OR have a phalanx that is textured... fires at air... (aims at motor (and destroys it) without firing... scripting error cant fix it dont know how yet... been trying to fix it) or I can release both... for beta testing... and to get feed back from the community

is your geometry lod fully working ? some times thats a problem... and liftforcecoef should be fine on 1 i have tried my helicopter with varied weights it just is the same.. but if you make liftforce coef like .5 itll vary for weight... but you could not have landcontact points (stuck to ground) geometry lod is broke (not close and convex or weighted) also in your model.cfg are you inheriting a helicopter ? -

didnt they have the semi recoil on the AA gun in arma 2 ? you should try it in game and if it does copy its code it could be that the animation period is like 0-.5 (first barel) .5-1 (second barrel) but ya im trying to figure out how to animate two barrels but spin them like a gatling gun (two of them at once and have 2 flashes (one fore each gun)) -
Hey guys just wanna update you on my end point of this addon, this ship is now tomahawk/cruisemissile compatible... launches missile vertically at missile launching station in the center of the ship... itll then track a locked target [TAB lock] or track a laser and lock on to it.... still testing this... there are errors with the laser.. (when zoomed into scope missile doesnt hit target... but when in 3rd person itll hit on the laser target).... gotta keep messing with this... all guns work (Player usage)... AI ussage is bugged for some reason... it aims left and up when there are enemies... so no idea... (talking to GNAT and other for this) also will be adding my (future... but mostly finished) Sea-ram to this model, due to it already working in game, and the sea-ram on here has errors and such.... (future additions) could be looking forward to usage of artillery computer with the cruisemissile and the front gun... (once i can find out how to properly use the artillery computer)... tried with no prevail... as for the model itself... TXT is working on it... adding interior right now... its looking good... ill see if he can post up new photos for yall..
