  1. Sort of... http://i.imgur.com/mzu8j.jpg http://i.imgur.com/pxwha.jpg http://i.imgur.com/PrFDi.jpg Just loaded my last savegame and the carrier was initially pointing its nose to the sky (http://i.imgur.com/Ft7Ja.jpg), then decided it wanted to do a dance and ended up like that.
  2. Yup. I just encountered it again, and sunk it again. This time I witnessed, the somewhat lackluster considering it's the main adversary, pyrotechnics of its demise. If it was any storyline that made sense and was engaging I'd be wondering why do we have to bother with finding the torpedoes.
  3. Loving the trip down memory lane with CC. The original was one of my absolute favourite games of all time. I've been playing along the campaign as a sort of get-accustomed/tutorial sort of thing (which I suppose that is its purpose). Shortly after liberating an island were the rest of the map is unlocked I had an encounter with the enemy carrier while I was en route to another island. In the, rather frantic and unexpected, battle that ensued I managed to destroy them (I think... they weren't there after lots of boom happening, but it's not like there was debris left) by blocking off their path with my carrier while exchanging broadsides, disabling their engines with deployed Walruses and then finishing them off with a bombing run from a couple of Mantas. I'm not sure if this was supposed to happen as I had just been issued a mission to go find some torpedo without which it would, supposedly, be impossible to destroy them. Then I got some weird cut-scene with further dialog that didn't quite make much sense and was dumped back to the game. The island I encountered them near is permanently flashing red while there are, obviously, no enemy units to be seen. Will the enemy carrier respawn or did I just break the campaign/story and should just load a previous savegame if I want to see how the storyline is supposed to go?
