  2. Hi, I have this strange WHEA_UNCORRETABLE_ERROR BSOD after I play around 10 minuted of Arma 3 gameplay online and I have no idea what the solution is. Apparently It's linked with hardware faults but I know that I have none. No other games gives me anything like this and they never have. Even in Arma 3 Alpha, the game ran fine without any BSOD's and Overclocking. I think that is the only solution that I have left. However, I'm not going to clart on with all of the settings until I attempt everything else there is to attempt (within reason). The reason for that is, I don't remember which settings need to be changed back. I'd more than likely have to take a pic of each BIOS screen and re-apply if it doesn't fix. Not only that but my gear was overclocked in Alpha without BSOD problems. Any suggestions? I've tried the following: Reinstalling Drivers Switching around my RAM Adjust page file multiple times over Checking for hardware updates Deleting the game cache Reinstalling the game Playing in the Editor/SP Temps never reach above 31'C when gaming http://i.cubeupload.com/cKkMgK.png My Specs: GPU: 660 Ti 2GB OC (v373.06) CPU: 3570K @ 4.5GHz (3.4GHz stock) (watercooled) RAM: 8GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz SSD: Samsung 250GB 840 EVO PSU: Corsair 850W Thanks.
  3. I lowered both of them, but I have no idea what the cafe rating does at all. And no, I don't think replacing the whole router or modem is a reasonable idea lol :)
  4. Yep. I find it even more annoying when my relatives can't play what they want to play because of this. It literraly cuts the connections for all devices too, and continues to do so after exiting the server list, for about 2 minutes. I think i'll submit something in the forums for them to look at. Thanks for reply.
  5. Hi, ever since installing Arma 3 a month or two ago, I have an annoying problem which I can't seem to get rid of. As the title says, when i use the Server Browser, or when I join or leave a Server, the connection to all devices drops flat. I only noticed this when my browser stopped displaying the pages. However, I didn't realize that it was Arma 3 causing this now, until I searched online. I've tried all the suggestions I can find which were; Add a new Registry key which limits the Bandwidth available to Steam Limit the bandwidth the game consumes via Steam using Download speed Neither of these worked and now I'm puzzled as to what I should do. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks for reading my issue.
  6. I don't want my unit to fall from the sky, as I explained above. I want my unit to jump from inside another unit, like stated above. I don't know how to link the unit in the script, which I guess you would have realised from the first post. I don't want to create extra files for simple things like this if they're not needed, unless you're telling me that the already built editor is so terrible, that it doesn't work properly?
  7. Hi, I am in the midst of adding more detail to my MP mission, but I have a problem. I will explain what I am trying to do with these units, and what code I have put into it, for it to work. Units: UH-80 - I named this "Helicopter" Para Trooper - I named this "A" Para Trooper - I named this "B" Both Para Trooper's have "This moveincargo Helicopter", so that they start and move with the helicopter. The Helicopter has a simple Move waypoint. Between the helicopter and the Move waypoint, there are 2 Triggers. The two triggers, order the 2 units to eject from the heli using this code, where the letter A/B is the para troopers name and Helicopter is the name of the unit. So, I have to pieces of this code. 1 per Waypoint; A action ["Eject",Helicopter] The Problem So, the main problem is, when the Heli spawns with the units inside, it immediately drops the units. After dropping the units, it doesn't even travel to the waypoint. Sometimes it hovers for around 1 minute, then goes to around 15m Alt, other times it drops immediately to various alts, but it doesn't move to the waypoint. I have no clue as to why it does this. It worked when I first set it up, but broke after adding 2 more paratroopers to the same Helicopter. However, I deleted those para troopers and their respective triggers, along with the Heli, but the problem is still there. Any advice would be welcome :) P.s I am new to all the editing and coding :)
  8. The target is a ground unit which I am trying to attack. I have put a marker on top of the unit, but the Jet's take ages to attack the unit. I have no idea how to add the lines of code at all, and assumed they would attack straight away. Sometimes they don't even attack.
  9. Well, after a short period of time, they came back and fired their machine guns and destroyed the target, but I would like them to do it without an initial spotting run, as they do. Sometimes, they don't even bother shooting the target. And thank you again for helping me JShock :)
  10. Hi, I'm trying to create a simple Destroy Waypoint for a group of jets, but I'm not quite sure how to do it. I have created a line of waypoints from the spawn of the jets, to the target, with the last waypoint being placed over the top of the target in the editor with these settings: Waypoint Type: Destroy Placement radius: 10 Combat mode: Open fire, engage at will Behavior: Combat The group of Jets, fly to the target but they don't fire. They seem to look directly at the ground target, but they don't usee their weapons. Have no idea why. Thanks for reading :)

  12. Ok, so after I set my server up with a simple respawn script, my game seems to be acting strangely, when editing the .EXT file for my missions. At first, the .EXT files were working, but now they don't. I'm totally lost with the directories too. I have around 4 different directories with the same mission in it, and I don't know why. Anyway, to the main problem. The main problem is, that I'm confused as to which file I'm supposed to edit for the specific mission. I know the name of the MP mission too. I'm trying to change the respawn time for the players but I can't find the correct file. Ech file I can find, has a totally different respawn delay, compared to when I launch the server with the mission. Sorry for the rant, but if anyone has any advice, I'd like to hear it. Thanks!
  13. Ok, cool, thanks for tip. Might report this to devs, as I can't remember there being this bug back in Alpha and Beta. Just so pissed, that this was the cause... Thanks, I think I might get into this scripting more. Thanks again :) Just to be clear. What folder(s) are actually being read and written to, for the mission to work Online? I have no idea.   14. Rather strange because I have around 4 copies of the same mission in diff Arma 3 directories. You can try and join my server and you'll see it won't work. IP: 82.17.123.70 Address: TST[Respawn] Pass: TST[Respawn] Other than that, I have no idea. It's obviously not the mission which is the problem. It'l be the way the files are placed. However, I can't change the directories creates files, so I can't have done something wrong... there's nothing I can find which would cause this. ---------- Post added at 17:07 ---------- Previous post was at 16:45 ---------- Ok, I have managed to get it working. It look like I have a bug. I loaded it up in the editor to add a few more vehicles, and click Save. I then loaded the mission up in the server, and the vehicles were missing (didn't save). So I then went back and clicked Save As instead, and it worked. Strange, strange game.
